2011-2016
Thrower Kevin Farley was a three-time All-American at Southeast Missouri. Farley qualified for the NCAA Championships on three occasions, including twice in the shot put (2013, 2016) and once in the discus (2016). He recorded three top-10 finishes in those appearances earning First-Team All-America honors with a seventh-place finish in the shot put in 2013 and an eight-place showing in the discus in 2016. Farley was a 10-time Ohio Valley Conference Champion (Discus, 2013 & 2016; Hammer, 2014 & 2016; Outdoor Shot Put, 2013 & 2016; Indoor Shot Put, 2013, 2014 & 2015; 35-Pound Weight Throw, 2015). He won OVC Championship MVP honors three times (Indoor, 2015; Outdoor, 2013 & 2016), OVC Indoor Field Athlete of the Year accolades on two occasions (2014 & 2015), OVC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year laurels once (2013) and was tabbed OVC Outdoor Freshman of the Year (2012) in his career. Farley still holds the OVC record in the 35-pound weight throw and was a member of four OVC Championship teams. He set three SEMO records, including the outdoor shot put, 35-pound weight throw and hammer. His outdoor shot put and 35-pound weight throw records still stand today, while his hammer record has been broken. He ranks first all-time at SEMO in the shot put and weight throw, and second in both the discus and hammer. Farley was a four-time USTFCCCA Academic All-American and OVC Scholar-Athlete, as well.
