Named First-Team All-American by the Associated Press and Sports Network as a defensive end in 1994. He was the Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 1994 and led the OVC in tackles for loss (19.5 for a loss of 92 yards) and sacks (11.5 for a loss of 76 yards), both school records.
