Southeast Missouri Athletics Hall of Fame
1999-2001
Beth Guccione is the first soccer only player to enter SEMO's Athletics Hall of Fame. She was the 2001 OVC Player of the Year. Guccione was also a two-time First-Team All-OVC selection (1999, 2001) and made the league's All-Tournament Team in 1999. She was a Soccer Buzz Magazine All-Central Region Third-Team honoree during the 2001 campaign. Guccione ranks among the school's top five career leaders in save percentage (3rd, .828), solo shutouts (4th, 15), wins (5th, 20), saves (5th, 154) and goalkeeper minutes (5th, 2,885). To this day, she still holds single-season school records in goals against average (0.44, 2001), wins (16, 2001) and solo shutouts (13, 2001). Guccione was the starting goalkeeper for the inaugural season of the SEMO women's soccer program in 1999.
