Carroll Williams spent five decades at Southeast Missouri holding various roles including assistant basketball coach, head basketball coach, golf coach and interim athletics director before retiring in the spring of 2005. Williams enrolled at SEMO in the fall of 1955 beginning his long relationship with the University and education profession. He graduated from SEMO in 1959 with majors in Health and Physical Education as well as a Social Studies Teaching major. Williams has been involved in the teaching and coaching ranks in the Southeast Missouri area for 67 years.
