Miles and Feuerborn Take First as the Redhawks Finish the Gary Wieneke Memorial Invite.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Breanna Miles and Parker Feuerborn headlined the meet by taking first in the 400m and hammer throw. The Redhawks concluded the Gary Wieneke Memorial Invite with 13 new personal bests and 38 top ten performances.

Podium Finishes
Breanna Miles took the trophy in the women's 400-meter. The senior crossed the line at 55.09 for a new season best.

Parker Feuerborn stood alone atop the podium in the hammer throw after throwing for a mark of  226' 10" ahead of 19 other athletes.

The squad of Serena Williams, Sydney Burdine, Leanza Dwaah, and Miles claimed the silver medal (46.49) and a new season best in the 4x100.

Jaden Kight threw the javelin for a mark of 144' 02" for the silver medal.

Garrett Dumke grabbed the third place medal in the 5000-meter with a time of 14:50.46.

After the javelin throw finished Shea DeGraaf was wearing the bronze (202' 06")

New Personal Records
Clayton Eftink and Jacob Blassingame crossed the line at 9:50.28 (12th) and ??9:57.22 (14th) for new personal bests.

In the 1500m Cade McCadams ran the event in 4:04.94 (25th) for a new PR.

Hannah Eastman finished the women's 1500-meter in a new personal best time of 4:38.26 (7th). Eastman also achieved a new PR in the 800m (2:21.92, 12th).

Connor Moore ran the 100m dash in 10.95 (18th) for a new personal record.

In the men's 800, Micah Grawer crossed the finish line at 1:56.62 for ninth and a new PR.

With jumps of 19' 02" and 19' 0.5" Todjai Ross and Molly Grohmann notched new personal bests in the long jump.

Marcus Gordon Jr. jumped 400m of hurdles in a new PR time of 56.72 (11th).

Brianna Dixon chalked up a seventh place finish in the 400m Hurdles (1:05.42) while posting a new PR.

Burdine crossed the line at 24.27 for a new personal record and a ninth place finish in the 200-meter dash.

Bailee Hux threw the hammer for a distance of 165' 06" for a new PR mark (12th).

With a time of 18:11.25 Lexie Dockstader achieved a new personal best time in the 5000m.

Top Ten Performances
In the 3000m steeplechase Myles Thornburg placed 10th with a time of 9:40.12.

In the women's discus throw Alivia Busch threw for a mark of 141' 09" (7th) and Piper Klinger achieved a distance of 141' 07" (8th).


Mackenzie Pugh placed 10th in women's 3000m steeplechase (12:15.11). 

The men's shot put saw Paden Lewis and Marshall Swadley place fifth and sixth. Lewis threw for a distance of 57' 00.75" (17.39m) and Swadley had a season best throw of 56' 00.50" (17.08m). 

The men's 400x100 team of Momoh Brema, Brenden Parham, Connor Moore, and Tanner Koontz finished with a time of 42.37 (6th) for a new season best.

The freshman duo of Molly Grohmann and Brianna Dixon placed fifth and sixth in the women's high jump. Grohmann jumped to the height of 5' 05.00" (1.65m) and Dixon had a jump of 5' 03.00" (1.60m).  

Mason Clough places eighth in the men's high jump with a jump of 6' 05.00" (1.96m). 

Clara Billing ran the 100m hurdles in 14.18 for a new PR and fifth place.

The freshman Trystan Wright jumped over the hurdles for 100m to place 10th (15.68).

With fourth and seventh place finishes Sydney Burdine and Laila Hardin finished with times of 55.68 and 56.41.

Dwaah ran the 100m in a fourth place time of 11.95.

Men's trio of pole vaulters, Koontz placed seventh (16' 4.75"), Sullivan Gleason placed eighth (15' 11"), and Colin Beers placed 10th (15' 11").

Busch threw the shot put for a distance of 44' 2.5" to place eighth.

With a throw of 173' 01" Lewis posted a fourth place finish in the discus.

With a time of 14:50.91 Nick Cimmarusti notched fourth place in the 5000-meter.

The women's team of Dwaah, Anna Thomason, Tayler Gudde, and Kendall Holweg placed seventh in the 4x400 (3:57.53).

Justin Breault and Josiah Kilgore notched fourth (196' 08") and sixth (165' 0") in the men's javelin throw.

Clara Billing vaulted over a height of 12' 4.50" to take fifth in the pole vault.

In the men's hammer throw Swadley claimed a distance of 198' 04" for fourth and Lewis threw for a mark of 197' 10" for fifth.

Looking Ahead
The Redhawks continue their road stretch next weekend at the Georgia Tech Invite in Atlanta, Ga., April 19-20.
