2025 Outdoor: Vaulted in nine meets...Secured six top three finishes...Qualified for the NCAA DI West First Round meet...Started the outdoor season at the Ole Miss Classic with an eighth place finish reaching 16' 1.25" (4.91m)...Vaulted to a second place finish at the Pacesetter Sports Invitational reaching 16' 0.75" (4.90m)...Followed that up with a third place finish at the Gibson Invitational with a height of 16' 2" (4.93m)...Returned to second place at the Clark Wood Open with a mark of 16' 7.25" (5.06m)...Earned two first place finishes in back-to-back weeks starting at the Memphis Tiger Invitational where he hit 16' 6" (5.03m). At the Billy Hayes Invitational he won the event while also setting a new personal best of 17' .25" (5.19m)...Sullivan finished third at the OVC Championships with a height of 15' 9" (4.80m)... At the NCAA event he finished in 33rd with a max height of 16' 5.5" (5.02) to end his season.
2025 Indoor: Vaulted in eight meets…Earned seven top 10 finishes including five top three finishes...Started the season at the Indiana Early Bird Invitational and placed second with a height of 16' 4.75" (5.00m)...Finished on the top of the table at the next two events. He vaulted to 15' 7" (4.75m) at the Redhawks Invite and 15' 11" (4.85m) at the Show-Me Showdown...Placed eighth at the Rick McGuire Invitational reaching 16' 3.5" (4.97m)...In the second home meet, the Redhawks Open, Gleason finished in third place with a max height of 15' 7" (4.75m)...He took home the title at the OVC Championships reaching 16' 8" (5.08m).
2024 Outdoor: Competed in nine meets…Recorded seven top 10…At the Ole Miss Classic placed seventh posting a vault of 16’ 5.25” (5.01m) which was high enough to earn a new personal best…At the Abe Stuber Track Complex placed third at the Joey Haines Invitational getting to the height of 15’ 1”...Had a vault of 16’ 0.75” (4.90m) at the Tennessee Invite placing fourth…Got to the height of 15’ 11” (4.85m) and recorded an eighth place finish at the Gary Wieneke Memorial…Placed ninth at the Georgia Tech Invitational with a vault of 15’ 7.75” (4.77m)...Took home the silver medal getting to the height of 15’ 8.25” during the Memphis Tiger Invitational…At the 2024 Outdoor OVC Championships placed fifth in the pole vault with a vault of 14’10” (4.52m).
2024 Indoor: Vaulted in five meets…Posted three top ten performances…Placed eighth at Illini Challenge getting to the height of 14’ 11.5” (4.56m) in the pole vault…During the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic had a vault of 16’ 0.75” (4.90m) and finished with the bronze medal…Placed second in the pole vault with a vault of 16’ 3.5” at the Samford Bulldog Invite 2024.
2023 Outdoor: Ran in five meets…Notched three top ten performances…Ran the 5000 in 15:30.97 (14th) at the Joey Haines Invite…At the Cougar Classic placed seventh in the 3000 when he crossed the line at 9:06.79…The Memphis Tiger Invitational saw him run the 5000 in 15:09.87 for seventh…During the Ohio Valley outdoor championships posted a 10000-meter time of 33:05.83, also achieved a time of 16:10.16 (21st) in the 5000.
2023 Indoor: Ran in seven meets…Notched five top five finishes…At the Edmonds-Wilt Invitational posted a PR in the Mile and a first place finish in the 3000-meter with times of 4:28.57 (3rd) and 9:12.92…During the 2023 Redhawks invite placed third in the 3000-meter (8:54.27)...Finished first in the 5000-meter with a time of 15:13.58 at the John Gartland Invitational…During the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic Gleason set new PR in the mile with a run of 4:20.21…At the 2023 Hoosier Hills meet he set another PR in the 3000 with a run of 8:36.19 while placing fourth in the event…Finished with times of 8:52.43 (18th) and 15:16.99 (15th) in the 3000 and 5000 at the OVC Championships.
Prep: Attended Fort Zumwalt High School...Won the Class 5 State Championship in the pole vault with a 15-6.5 mark as a senior...That mark was a state record...Overcame a hand injury to qualify for the Class 5 State Championships as a junior...Also finished first in the pole vault at the Timberland Wolfpack Invitational.
Personal: Born March 26...Son of Brian and Sarah Gleason...Majoring in Computer Science...His brother, Seth, is also on SEMO’s track & field team.
