Biography

2025 Outdoor: Jumped in seven meets...Posted nine top 10 finishes, including one in every meet...Started the outdoor season off strong with a first place finish in the high jump at the Ole Miss Classic clearing 5' 5", while also placing sixth in the long jump reaching 18' 5.75". She also finished second in the HJ at the next meet the Pacesetter Sports Invitational reaching 5' 6"...She had back-to-back top 10 finishes in the long jump at the Georgia Tech Invitational (eighth, 18' 9") and at th Clark Wood Open (fifth, 18' 8")...Grohmann finished second at the Memphis Tiger Invitational in the HJ reaching 5' 7"...Wrapping up her second season at the OVC Championships she racked up a fourth place finish in the HJ (5' 6.5"), fifth in the LJ (18' 7") and 11th in the TJ (36' 8.5").

2025 Indoor: Competed in eight meets...Placed in the top 10, 13 times...Starting her sophomore campaign at the Indiana Early Bird meet she placed fifth in both in the high jump and long jump with a mark of 5'6" in the HJ and 18' 3.25" in the LJ...She took the title in the HJ with a mark of 5' 7" and the triple jump reaching 36' 9" at the Redhawks Invite. She also finsihed second in the long jump with a distance of 18' 3"...At the Crossroads of America Invitational she set a personal best in the triple jump with a distance of 37' 7.25" finishing in 14th...At the OVC Championships she took second in the high jump with a mark of 5' 6", sixth in the long jump clearing until 18' 9.5" and ninth in the triple jump with a distance of 37' 4.5".

2024 Outdoor: Jumped at ten meets…Notched 11 top ten performances…At the Richard Martin Invitational jumped over a height of 5' 1.25" for fifth…Cleared a height of  5' 5" for the bronze at the Joey Haines Invite…Achieved two top ten finishes at the Gary Wieneke Memorial in the high jump (5' 5", 5th) and a new personal best long jump distance of 19' 0.5" (9th)...Posted jumps of 5' 9.25" (New PR) and 18' 7" for second and third in the high jump and long jump at the Memphis Tiger Invitational…At the OVC Championship cleared a distance of 5' 7.25" to take the silver medal and achieved a mark of 18' 3" in the long jump (9th)...Ended the season at the NCAA West First Round posting a height of 5' 5.25" (45th) in the high jump.

2024 Indoor: Jumped at eight meets…Posted 11 top ten finishes with seven being top five places…Achieved Ohio Valley female freshman of the week once…Began the season with three top five finishes at the Edmunds Wilt Invite and Redhawks Invite with two silver medal finishes in the high jump (5’ 5.25”, 5’ 5”) and a third place jump of 17' 9.75" in the long jump…Placed fourth and fifth at the Bellarmine Open in the high jump (5' 7") and 4x400m (4:07.94)...Grabbed her first gold medal in the high jump at the Samford Bulldog Invite after clearing a height of 5' 7"...Ended her season at the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championship placing fourth in the long jump with a distance of 18' 5.75".

Prep: A native of Hecker, Ill.,Grohmann competed in the high jump, 300-meter hurdles, and the 4x400-meter relay for head coach Larry Huffman at Waterloo where she lettered and started all four years of her high school career…During her senior season, placed second in the indoor state high jump, was the sectional high jump champion, placed second in the 4x400-meter relay at sectionals, and took third place in the 300-meter hurdles in the same event…Was the conference champion in high jump, the 300-meter hurdles, and a member of the 4x400-meter conference champion relay…Selected as the Bi-County MVP along with being the Waterloo High School track & field MVP…Off the track, notched a 4.0 in the classroom and was the valedictorian. 

Personal: Born September 16th… Intends to major in Health Sciences.
