CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri track & field honored 22 graduating athletes during day three of the Joey Haines Invite. The Redhawks posted 39 top five finishes with 14 being first place finishes. 18 athletes also recorded new personal records

Atop The Podium
In the pole vault
Colin Beers vaulted over a height of 15' 07" to claim the event title.
Brianna Dixon jumped over a height of 5' 8.75" to claim first and a new PR in the high jump. The Freshman also claimed the 100-hurdle event title with a time of 14.04 (New PR).
Garrett crossed the line at 3:55.94 for first in the men's 1500-meter.
In the women's 100-meter, Miles registered a time of 11.59 for first and a new PR. The senior also ran the 200-meter in 23.84 for first place.
Erika Mellor won the women's 800-meter event with a time of 2:18.94.
Laila Hardin took the trophy in the 400-meter hurdles with a finishing time of 1:02.13.
Serena Williams jumped for a first place distance of 39' 8.75" in the women's triple jump.
Jaden Kight threw the javelin for a 151' 03" mark to take the gold.
Kayla Vogelsang crossed the line at 18:38.42 to stand alnoe atop the podium in the women's 5000-meters.
Justin Breault threw the javelin for a first place mark of 198' 06".Â
The women's 4x400 squad of Burdine, Miles, Dwaah, Hardin took first with a time of 3:50.59.
The team of
Connor Moore, Crawford,
Brenden Parham and Garrett crossed the line at 3:13.81 to take first in the 4x400m.
New Personal Bests
Paden Lewis threw the shot put for a mark of 57' 09" and a new personal record,
Quinton Maxwell also achieved a new PR (49' 10.5").Â
All three athletes in the women's discus notched new personal bests;
Makenzie Williams with a mark of 161' 02" (4th), Klinger with a throw of 149' 07" (5th),Busch posted a throw of 148' 10" (6th).
Marcus Gordon placed third and attained a new personal best (14.65) in the 110m hurdles.
Leanza Dwaah crossed the line at 57.66 for second in the women's 400-meter while recording a new personal best.
Sydney Burdine and
Megan Aubuchon posted finishing times of 12.21 (5th) and 12.67 (9th) for a new personal record.
Connor Moore and
Brenden Parham finished the 100m dash in 11.00 (10th) and 11.07 (13th) for new personal records. Moore also ran the 200 in a new PR time of 22.06.
In the discus throw Lewis placed second with a PR mark of 176' 03".Â
Micah Grawer ran the 800-meter in 1:57.45 for a new personal record.
Dixon crossed the line at 1:08.15 notching a fifth place finish and new personal record.
Podium Finishes
Tanner Koontz and
Sullivan Gleason both cleared a height of 15' 01" to share the bronze medal.
Jacob Blassingame grabbed the silver in the 3000-meter steeplechase (9:59.24).
Freshman
Molly Grohmann achieved a mark of 5' 05" (3rd) in the high jump.
The women's 4x100 squad of S. Williams, Burdine, Dwaah, and Miles placed second with a time of 46.64.
Aarion Jackson jumped for 22' 9.75" in the long jump to win the silver medal.
Crawford took the bronze medal in the 800-meter (1:56.78).
Brooklyn Bender and
Haley Smith finished the 5000-meter in 19:08.16 (2nd) and 19:16.67 (3rd).
In the men's 5000-meter
Cade McCadams ran for a time of 15:40.51 (2nd).
Top 5 Placers
Payton ran the 1500-meter in 4:43.57 to take fifth.
Clay Alewelt threw the discus for a distance of 168' 11" to take fifth.
With a time of 1:56.89
Justin Splitt took fourth in the men's 800-meter.
Busch achieved a mark of 45' 0.25" to claim fourth in the shot put.
In the 5000-meter
Alayna Sparr chalked up a fourth place finish with an ending time of 19:21.48.
Nick Cimmarusti placed fifth with a time of 16:06.58 in the 5000-meter.
The men's 4x400m squad of Â
Louis Primeau, Grawer,
Myles Thornburg, and
Jacob Blassingame finished fifth (3:29.68).
