MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Southeast Missouri Track & Field had another successful day at the Memphis Invite. The Redhawks conclude day two with six new personal bests and three first place finishes. The Redhawks also recorded 27 top-five performances.
New Personal Bests
Momoh Brema crossed the finish line in 50.11 for a new PR and a seventh-place finish in the men's 400-meter. Brema also got a new PR in the 200-meter placing fifth with a dash of 22.36.
The men's high jump saw
Mason Clough place fourth and achieve a new personal best with a jump of 6' 4.75" (1.95m).
Megan Deimeke finished with two PRs on the day. She placed fourth and threw for 44' 6" (13.65m) in the women's shot put and placed third in the discus with a mark of 46.10-meters.
Ciara Potter gets a new PR in the Triple jump. Potter had a jump of 11.54-meters and placed second.
The Gold Medal
Breanna Miles gets the gold medal in the women's 400-meter and records a new personal best crossing the finish line in 55. 75.
Dylan Clark gets the top spot on the podium in the men's shot put with a mark of 57' 0" (17.37m).
In the men's triple jump,
Luke Hatfield-Jackson finished in first place with a jump of 14.57-meters.
Top 5
The men's 4x100 relay team of
Momoh Brema,
Brenden Parham,
Brock Wood, and Chris Johnson finished in second place with a time of 42: 03.
Brock wood placed fourth in the men's 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.67.
Laila Hardin finishes in 57.00 in the women's 400-meter and places third.
Luke Hatfield-Jackson placed second and finished with the silver medal in the men's high jump. He cleared the height of 6' 8.75" (2.05m).
In the women's high jump
Anna Thomason placed second with a jump of 5' 2.50" (1.59m),
Serena Williams and
Sophie Dubis tied for the bronze medal clearing the height of 5' 0.50" (1.54m).
Clara Billing ran a time of 14.67 in the women's 100-meter hurdles placing fourth.
Brianna Payton finished in fifth place with a time of 2:17.16 in the women's 800-meter.
The women's 400-meter hurdles saw
Kendall Holweg place fourth with a time of 1:08.26.
Marshall Swadley finishes in fourth place with a throw of 53' 3.75" (16.25m) in the shot put.
Daja Gordon placed fifth in the women's 200-meter with a dash of 25.75.
Makenzie Williams finished in fourth place getting to the distance of 45.67-meters in the women's discus throw.
The men's 4x400 relay team of
Connor Moore,
Brock Wood,
Brenden Parham, and
Momoh Brema placed fourth with a time of 3:21.22.
Breanna Miles,
Erika Mellor,
Laila Hardin, and
Brianna Payton placed third finishing the race in 3:52.78 in the women's 4x400 relay race.
Luke Busateri and
Aarion Jackson competed in the men's triple jump. Busateri placed second (14.33m) and Jackson placed fifth (13.57m).
In the men's discus throw
Clay Alewelt finished in third with a throw of 52.75-meters and
Dylan Clark placed fourth getting to the distance of 51.47-meters.
Other Performances
Daja Gordon placed eighth in the women's 400-meter dash with a run of 1:06.87.
In the men's 400-meter
Xzavier Bartlett had a run of 51.41 finishing in tenth place.
Bailie Hux placed tenth and had a mark of 42' 2" (12.85m) in the women's shot put.
Megan Aubuchon and Taylor Gudde placed sixth and ninth in the women's 100-meter hurdles. Aubuchon crossed the line at 14.78 and Gudde finished in 18.48.
In the women's high jump Kaitlyn Mcginnitey placed sixth with a jump of 5' 0.50" (1.54m).
In the women's 800-meter
Erika Mellor placed sixth with a time of 2:17.35 and Lilly Early finished in ninth place with a run of 2:20.64.
Louis Primeau finished in seventh place in the men's 800 crossing the finish line in 1:58.11.
Megan Aubuchon finished in sixth place with a time of 1:14.46 in the women's 400 hurdles.
In the women's 200-meter
Laila Hardin had a run of 26.23 (9th).
The men's 200-meter saw
Brenden Parham place eight with a time of 22.69 and
Connor Moore Place ninth with a time of 22.72.
Jacob Blassingame placed sixth in the 3000-meter steeplechase (9:58.26).
Marshall Swadley placed ninth in the men's discus throw. Swadley threw for 44.03-meters.
Clay Alewelt threw for 49' 9.75" (15.18m) and
Quinton Maxwell had a mark of 48' 1.75" (14.67m) in the men's shot put. Alewelt placed ninth and Maxwell placed tenth.

The Southeast Missouri Track & Field team will be on the road again next week competing at the Billy Hayes Invite in Bloomington, Indiana and the Arkansas Twilight in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Friday, May 5.
