INDIANOLA, Iowa. – The Southeast Missouri throwers wrapped up the Kip Janvrin Open Saturday.
In the women's javelin throw
Ava Dumke took the event title with a throw reaching 142-2.
Avery Graham also placed high finishing in third with a mark of 126-1.
In the men's hammer throw,
Zavier Winton secured a runner up finish with a throw of 190-2. Teammate
Quinton Maxwell placed 14
th reaching 144-9.
On the women's side,
Baylee Beard won the hammer throw unattached with a throw of 185-3. SEMO also claimed fifth through eighth place with
Bailie Hux (5
th, 164-0),
Alyssa Repke (6
th, 155-6),
Emerson Gross (7
th, 154-7) and
Andreese Ortiz (8
th, 154-6).
The Redhawks are slated to compete in the Memphis Tiger Invite Friday and Saturday.
