Series History
Morehead State holds a 29-18 advantage in its all-time series against Southeast. The Redhawks snapped a six-game losing streak in the series with their 78-75 victory in Cape Girardeau on Jan. 11. Southeast is 2-14 in its previous 16 meetings with the Eagles.

Season Sweep on the Line
Southeast goes for a season sweep of Morehead State when it takes the court Thursday. The Redhawks beat the Eagles, 78-75, on Jan. 11 at the Show Me Center. Southeast last swept MSU in a season during the 2006-07 campaign (won, 81-78, in Cape Girardeau; won, 61-59, in Morehead). In all, the Redhawks have swept the Eagles in a season a total of six times during the series.

Countdown to 1,000
Denzel Mahoney enters Thursday's game needing just nine points to reach 1,000 in his two-year Southeast career. Mahoney, who led the Redhawks in scoring during 18 games this season, has 991 points in 58 career starts. If he reaches that milestone, Mahoney will be the second player under head coach Rick Ray to score 1,000 points at Southeast. Mahoney will also become the fifth different Redhawk to score over 1,000 career points since 2012-13.

Four-Game Skid
Southeast looks to end a four-game losing streak when it visits Morehead State. The Redhawks lost at Tennessee Tech, 76-65, on Jan. 25, at Jacksonville State, 78-60, on Jan. 27, vs. Murray State, 87-75, on Feb. 1 and vs. Austin Peay, 96-81, on Feb. 3 during that stretch. Like Southeast, Morehead State is also presently on a four-game skid.

Last Place Eagles
Morehead State enters the week last in the Ohio Valley Conference standings with an overall record of 6-17 and 2-10 league mark. The Eagles have turned the ball over an OVC-high 381 times for an average of 16.6 per game this season.

That Makes 50
Denzel Mahoney scored double figures for the 50th time in his career when he finished with 20 points against Austin Peay (Feb. 3). Mahoney scored 10 or more points in 23 of 25 starts this season.

Hot First Half
The Redhawks shot a blazing 66.7 percent (18-of-27) from the field and knocked down seven 3-pointers in a big first half against Austin Peay (Feb. 3). Southeast scored 49 points in the first 20 minutes of that game, its most in an opening stanza of basketball this season.

Tale of Two Halves
Southeast started strong in the first half, but fell victim to big runs and went cold from 3-point range in the second half during each of its last two games. The Redhawks let a 13-point lead slip away in an 87-75 loss to Murray State (Feb. 1). The Racers shot over 63 percent and used a 16-2 run midway through the second half to get by Southeast. Two days later, Austin Peay went on a 15-2 run when the Redhawks were down by two (64-62). The Governors, who never trailed in the second half, scored 96 points in their win, most by an opponent against Southeast this year. Combined, the Redhawks shot 2-of-17 (11.8 percent) from beyond the arc in the second half of those contests.

Kowalski Sees Double
Freshman Ray Kowalski went a perfect 4-of-4 from the field and knocked down three 3-pointers en route to finishing with 11 points against Austin Peay (Feb. 3). It was the fifth time Kowalski scored double figures in a game this season. Additionally, Kowalski finished with double-digits in the scoring column for the first time since Dec. 20 (10 pts., vs. Bradley).

Five in Double Figures
Denzel Mahoney scored 20 points, Ledarrius Daniel Simmons pitched in 18, Ledarrius Brewer and Ray Kowalski each had 11, and Mark Laros chipped in 10 vs. Austin Peay (Feb. 3). It marked the fourth time this year where Southeast had five players reach double figures in the scoring column.
