CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Forward Clayton Jewell signed with the Southeast Missouri men's basketball program Tuesday.
Jewell, who hails from Darwin, Australia, transfers to SEMO from NCAA Division II member Colorado Mesa University. He ranked first on the team in rebounding (7.5 rpg) and second in scoring (11.1 ppg) there last season.
In 25 starts, Jewell shot just under 50 percent (.498) from the field and made 83.1 percent (74-of-89) of his free throws, while adding 51 assists, 38 blocks and 32 steals.
"Clayton brings much needed size, skill and experience to our front line," said SEMO Head Coach
Brad Korn. "He has the physical tools to be an impact for us immediately. We love his energy and passion on the offensive and defensive end of the floor. Our fans are going to appreciate the way Clayton plays the game."
Prior to Colorado Mesa, Jewell played two seasons at Oklahoma City University. He averaged 13.1 points and 8.7 rebounds per game and turned in six double-doubles during the 2024-25 campaign.
