Series History
Southeast owns a 16-8 lead in its all-time series against SIU Edwardsville. A win Thursday would give the Redhawks their first season sweep of the Cougars since 2011-12. Southeast won four of the last five meetings between these teams at the Show Me Center. The Redhawks and Cougars have identical 2-11 records in the Ohio Valley Conference this season.

Kellum Out Thursday
Starting forward Trey Kellum will miss Thursday's game with a concussion. Kellum suffered his injury during Southeast's road loss at UT Martin on Feb. 11. He was sidelined for the Redhawks recent game at Murray State (Feb. 13). Kellum ranks second on the team in scoring (10.3 ppg) and rebounding (5.7 rpg). He played 23 games and made 22 starts this year.

Five-Game Skid
The Redhawks look to end a five-game losing streak when they square off against SIU Edwardsville. Southeast, which is on a losing streak of five or more games for the third time this season, fell to Austin Peay (86-80 on Jan. 30) and Murray State (78-72 on Feb. 4) at home, and Eastern Illinois (78-69 on Feb. 6), UT Martin (77-64 on Feb. 11) and Murray State (83-56 on Feb. 13) on the road. The Redhawks and Jacksonville State currently have the longest losing streaks in the conference.

Last Meeting vs. SIUE
Jamaal Calvin scored 15 points and made six big free throws in the final 41 seconds of the game to send Southeast to a 58-51 victory over SIU Edwardsville on Jan. 28. The Redhawks overcame a season-low .286 field goal percentage with excellent defense and a mammoth second-half effort at the free throw line to get the win. Southeast made 23-of-28 free throws for 82.1 percent. The Redhawks sunk 21 of their free throws in the second half.

Final Home Games
Southeast enters its final home games of the season when it hosts SIU Edwardsville (Feb. 18) and Eastern Illinois (Feb. 20) this week. The Redhawks will honor their only senior, Isiah Jones, prior to Saturday's matchup against the Panthers. Southeast is 3-8 overall and 1-5 in the Ohio Valley Conference at the Show Me Center this season.

Road to 1,000
Junior Antonius Cleveland currently has 945 points in his Southeast career. Cleveland is 55 away from getting 1,000 points. He is averaging a team-high 14.4 points per game with double figures in 19 of his 22 starts this year. The Redhawks had a player join the 1,000-point club in three-straight seasons. Jarekious Bradley officially hit that mark in 2014-15 (vs. Austin Peay on Feb. 28), Tyler Stone did it in 2013-14 (vs. Ball State on Nov. 18) and Marland Smith accomplished the feat in 2012-13 (vs. UT Martin on Feb. 9). Stone and Smith were in the third year of their Southeast careers when they went over 1,000 points.

Seven in a Row
Antonius Cleveland scored double figures in seven-straight games for the second time this season. Cleveland's double-digit game scoring streak matches the longest in his career. He scored 20 or more points twice and turned in a pair of double-doubles during his recent stretch.

Closing In
Isiah Jones is close to cracking Southeast's top-10 career list in 3-pointers made and 3-pointers attempted. Jones has drained 112-of-312 threes in 56 games and 45 starts during his career. Two more 3-pointers made will tie him for 10th with Corey Wilford (114, 2011-13) and three more 3-point attempts will tie him  for 10th with Lucas Nutt (315, 2009-14).

McGill Starts Again
Freshman guard Eric McGill returned to Southeast's starting lineup at Murray State (Feb. 13). McGill scored 10 points in 31 minutes in his first start since Jan. 7. It was the seventh time he scored double figures in a game this year.

Redhawks Eliminated from OVC Tournament Contention
Southeast was eliminated from Ohio Valley Conference Tournament contention after losing to UT Martin (Feb. 11) and Murray State (Feb. 13) on the road last week. The Redhawks made the league's postseason tournament five-straight years prior to 2015-16.
