2013-14: One of the top freshmen in the OVC...Started 21 games and ranked third on the team in scoring with 9.1 points per game...Shot 52.5 percent (107-of-204) as one of four Redhawks who shot over 50 percent from the field...Was third on the team in both assists (53) and steals (32)...Averaged 22.4 minutes a game...Buried 14 three-pointers and chipped in 16 blocks...Named OVC Freshman of the Week four times (11/18, 12/2, 12/23, 2/24)...Scored double figures 14 times...Pitched in a season-high 21 points as one of seven Redhawks in double figures during Southeast’s 118-115 double overtime victory over Murray State (3/1)...His dunk off an alley-oop pass vs. Tennessee State (1/11) came in at No. 6 on ESPN’s Top Plays...Scored 14 points and made the game-winning halfcourt shot at the buzzer at UT Martin (2/22)...That play was part of the fantastic finishes segment leading into ESPN SportsCenter...Led Southeast in steals on seven occasions...Averaged 7.4 points and 2.3 rebounds in 16 games and seven starts during OVC play...Opened the season with double-digit points in each of his first three starts.
Prep: Averaged 18 points, five rebounds and five assists at Faith Baptist Christian Academy in 2012-13...Scored 12.5 points per game...Two years before that, he was a 5-8 substitute at Overton High School in Memphis...Grew to 6-2 the following summer and transferred to Germantown High School, where he averaged 12.5 points per game in 2011-12...Received additional Division I interest from South Florida, Florida International, Seattle University, Appalachian State, Jacksonville, Georgia State and Hofstra.
