East Division Schedule
Southeast closes out the East Division side of its Ohio Valley Conference schedule this week when it hosts Jacksonville State (Jan. 13) and travels to Tennessee Tech (Jan. 16) this week. TTU currently leads the East with an overall record of 12-5 and 4-0 in OVC play. The Golden Eagles, currently on a league-best four-game winning streak, visit UT Martin Wednesday.

Series History
Jacksonville State holds a 13-6 advantage in its all-time series against Southeast. The Redhawks snapped a four-game losing streak in the series with a 69-52 win in Jacksonville, Alabama on Jan. 14, 2015. A win Wednesday would give Southeast back-to-back victories for the first time in its series against JSU. The Redhawks and Gamecocks first started playing each other in 2003-04. Only two of Southeast's six wins against JSU have come at the Show Me Center (78-66 in 2009-10 and 74-56 in 2011-12).

Midweek Games
Wednesday marks Southeast's eighth midweek game of the season. The Redhawks are presently 1-6 in such contests and play on Wednesday for the second time this year. Southeast picked up its only midweek victory on the road at in-state rival Missouri State (78-74) on Dec. 22. Here is the list of the Redhawks midweek matchups this year:

Something in Common
Southeast and Jacksonville State will both be looking to end losing streaks Wednesday. JSU has dropped each of its last three games, while the Redhawks are looking to snap a four-game losing skid.

100 in Reach
Isiah Jones is just two 3-pointers away from reaching 100 in his career. Jones is currently 98-of-260 from 3-point range in his two-year Southeast career. He made two or more treys in eight of his last nine starts. Jones cleared 100 career assists when dished out three in his last start at Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 9).

Gametime Decision
Antonius Cleveland, Southeast's top scorer and rebounder, was hindered by a sore right wrist the last two games. Cleveland scored a season-low four points on 1-of-8 field goals and 2-of-3 free throws in 31 minutes during his last start at Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 9). He underwent an MRI Tuesday and his status for Wednesday will be a gametime decision.

Anderson Emerges
Freshman forward Tony Anderson had two nice games off the bench for Southeast last week. Anderson scored double figures twice, pitching in 10 points in 20 minutes at Morehead State (Jan. 7) and a season-high 11 points in 23 minutes at Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 9). He has played in every game this year and enters the week averaging 4.2 points per contest.

Calvin Gets First Start
Jamaal Calvin made his first start of the season at point guard at Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 9). Calvin scored nine points and made two 3-pointer in a season-high 31 minutes. He also had a career-high six assists and matched a career-best four steals. It was the first time Calvin was in the starting lineup since Feb. 22, 2015 (at Eastern Illinois).

Keeping up with Jones
Isiah Jones led Southeast in scoring twice last week. Jones scored 15 points at Morehead State (Jan. 7) and 19 at Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 9). He also made six 3-pointers, knocked down 8-of-10 free throws, dished out seven assists and collected two steals in those starts. Jones ranks second on the team with 11 points per game and leads the Redhawks in assists (45) and steals (25) through 16 games.

Numbers Dwindle
The Redhawks played their last game at Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 9) with seven players. Freshmen Eric McGill, Jaylin Stewart and Robby Dosier were sidelined due to a violation of team rules. Starters Trey Kellum and Joel Angus III each fouled out against the Colonels, leaving Southeast with five players for the final 3:41 of the game.

Bump in the Road
Jacksonville State (0-8) and Murray State (0-4) are presently the only Ohio Valley Conference schools winless on the road this season. JSU comes to Cape Girardeau with a 21-game losing streak on the road and has won just three road games since 2013-14 (3-38). The Gamecocks also have a 14-game losing streak on the road in league play. JSU's last road win came at Alabama A&M (67-61) on Nov. 25, 2014. The Gamecocks last OVC road victory was at Austin Peay (71-59) on Jan. 23, 2014.

Redhawk Rewind
The Redhawks lost their first Ohio Valley Conference road swing of the season, falling, 96-69, at Morehead State (Jan. 7) and, 88-69, at Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 9). Southeast dropped to 1-9 away from home this year.

Stealin' the Show

McGill has 24 (1.7 spg) in 14 games, while Jones has 25 (1.6 spg) in 16 starts. Cleveland tallied 22 (1.4) in 15 starts. Southeast is second in the OVC with 7.9 steals per game behind Morehead State (8.6).
