Series History
 
The Redhawks lead the all-time series against the Cougars 9-6 in a series that dates back to 2013. The Redhawks have dominated the matches since 2018 winning nine out of the last 10 matches. The squads met twice last season and SEMO edged out SIUE in both matches 4-3
 
OVC Streak
 
SEMO has a 16-match regular season unbeaten streak against OVC teams. Furthermore, since the 2021-22 season the Redhawks are 20-2 in OVC play. The last OVC team to defeat the Redhawks in the regular season was Murray State on April 19, 2022. 
 
Last Time Out
 
SEMO travelled to Texas to take on Texas State and UTSA and fell twice. Against Texas State SEMO had the early lead in the first set at No. 5 and No. 6 singles but the Bobcats clinched the match to leave them unfinished. 
 
Against UTSA Saskia Soome and Yontha Tadoum earned a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles, but the Roadrunners took the doubles point winning at No. 2 and No. 3, both in a tiebreak. UTSA went on to sweep the singles matches, all in straight sets.

SEMO tennis will stay in Cape Girardeau and face off against Southern Indiana on March 28^th.
