The Redhawks won seven of the last eight games of the series, including a 52-47 victory in Cape Girardeau on Jan. 20. SEMO swept its two-game series against SIUE in two of the last three years.

Schedule Flip
The Redhawks completed January with a 2-6 record and 1-6 mark in Ohio Valley Conference play. Southeast Missouri played five of its eight games in January on the road. That won't be the case in February, where SEMO will be at home for five of its eight games. The Redhawks began the month on a three- game homestand hosting Western Illinois (Feb. 3), Tennessee Tech (Feb. 8) and Tennessee State (Feb. 10) over that period. SEMO is 1-3 in February.

Redhawks Fall at Eastern Illinois
Southeast Missouri dropped its Thursday matchup at Eastern Illinois, 75-57. SEMO led for only 1:44 of the contest before EIU built a double-digit lead and came away with its 18-point win. The Redhawks turned the ball over 14 times and shot 35.6 percent (21-of-59) from the field.

Bell Goes for Season-High
Freshman Marqueas Bell pitched in a season-high 17 points to lead the Redhawks at Eastern Illinois (Feb. 15). Bell shot 6-of-11 from the field and made 4-of-4 free throws in 26 minutes off the bench. It was his second double-digit scoring game this season.

Earley is Rolling
Josh Earley scored double figures during 10 of his last 12 starts. Earley scored 20 points at Tennessee Tech (Jan. 13), 18 at Western Illinois (Jan. 4), 14 vs. Bethel (Jan. 6), 16 against both Lindenwood (Jan. 11) and SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 20), 14 at UT Martin (Jan. 25), 19 at Lindenwood (Jan. 30), 14 vs. Tennessee Tech (Feb. 8), 22 vs. Tennessee State (Feb. 10) and 15 at Eastern Illinois (Feb. 15). He is averaging 10.4 points a game as Southeast Missouri's second-leading scorer.

3-Pointer Streak
As a team, Southeast Missouri has made at least one 3-pointer in 485 consecutive games. The last time SEMO did not make a 3-pointer was vs. Western Illinois (0-of-6) on Dec. 10, 2008. The Redhawks kept that streak alive when they made their only 3-pointer of the game with less than a second left at Lindenwood (Jan. 30).
