Series History
Southeast Missouri is 4-2 all-time against Lindenwood. LU, however, won the first matchup between the teams this season. The Lions came away with a 74-68 victory over the Redhawks on Jan. 11 in Cape Girardeau.

Road Tripping
The Redhawks end January with their third-straight road game in midweek action at Lindenwood Tuesday. Southeast Missouri also played at UT Martin (Jan. 25), and Little Rock (Jan. 27) during that stretch which matches SEMO's longest road swing of the season. The Redhawks are 0-11 away from Cape Girardeau with a 0-10 mark in true road games. SEMO dropped 14-straight true road games dating back to 2022-23. The Redhawks last true road victory was at Eastern Illinois (79-68) on Jan. 28, 2023.

Redhawks Drop Close One at Little Rock
In a tightly contested matchup that had 13 lead changes, Southeast Missouri came up short in a 66-61 loss at Little Rock (Jan. 27). SEMO made eight 3-pointers and outscored LR, 24-3, from long range, but the Trojans found a way to survive late. LR used an 11-0 run to regain a two- possession lead and hit the go-ahead basket on its only 3-pointer made. The Redhawks battled back to tie the game at 56-56 before the Trojans made six free throws in the last 39 seconds to escape.

First Meeting Between Redhawks and Lions
Keenon Cole scored 42 points and had 11 rebounds to power Lindenwood to a 74-68 win over Southeast Missouri on Jan. 11 at the Show Me Center. LU led at the half and opened a double-digit lead after scoring the first seven points of the second stanza. The Lions led by as many as 18 points before SEMO got within four with 3.3 seconds to go. LU shot 62.5 percent from the field in the second half to key its victory. Cole's 42 points are third-most in a game by any player in NCAA Division I basketball this season.

Road Halftime Lead
Southeast Missouri held a 33-30 halftime lead at Little Rock (Jan. 27), its first lead at the intermission in road game this year. SEMO ended the first half strong with BJ Ward making a layup. Then, after LR turned the ball over, the Redhawks had the ball with 0.6 seconds left. Marqueas Bell in-bounded the ball from just inside halfcourt to Braxton Stacker. Stacker went up over a defender and scored at the buzzer to complete the three-point halftime advantage.

Bell Plays Well
Freshman Marqueas Bell put together a nice effort in Southeast Missouri's game at Little Rock (Jan. 27). Bell came off the bench to match a season-high six points. He threw down a dunk to tie the game at 56-56 with 2:43 left to play before the Trojans pulled away late. Bell also had one assist and played a season-high 16 minutes.

Biel Paves the Way
TJ Biel led the Redhawks with 13 points and scored double figures for the fourth time this season. Biel shot 5-of-10 from the field and made a season-high three 3-pointers off the bench.
