SEMO RECREATION CENTER - Mo. Graduate Student
Parker Feuerborn breaks the Southeast Missouri State indoor weight throw record as the Redhawks dominate their home opener. SEMO finished with 16 first place finishes and 53 top five finishes while notching ten new personal bests.
New Records Again!!
Feuerborn, a graduate student from St. Michael, Minn., had a monster throw of 73' 4.75" to break the Southeast indoor record previously set by himself in 2023.
Taylor Fox broke the SEMO Recreation Center record in the women's mile with a time of 5:04.27 beating the previous facility record of 5:04.30 set in 2008.
In the lone event that
Hannah Eastman competed in she broke the Rec. Center facility record in the women's 3000-meter. The graduate student crossed the line at 9:59.56 beating the previous record of 10:06.87 set by former teammate
Katie Wegmann in 2023.

Piper Klinger got SEMO started off with a 55' 4.75" mark in the women's weight throw for first.
Serena Williams jumped for a distance of 18'5.75" for first in the women's long jump
Luke Hatfield Jackson claimed the top spot on the podium with a 24' 1" mark in the long jump and the high jump (6' 8.75").
Bailee Hux is wearing the gold after a  43' 11" mark in the women's shot put. Hux also notched fourth place in the women's weight throw (54' 1").
In her first ever 55-meter hurdle race freshman
Brianna Dixion won the race (8.19). The Illinois native also jumped for fourth and a 5'5" mark in the women's high jump.
Freshman Marcus Gordon ran the 55m Hurdles in 7.701, .001 seconds faster than second place, while posting a new PR.
In the men's triple Jump
Luke Busateri jumped for a distance of 46'4.25" to win the event.
The Junior from De Soto, Missouri
Erika Mellor ran the 800 in 2:22.77 for first.
The Missouri native
Terrico Garrett was second to none in the men's 800-meter running the race in 1:58.27
Marshall Swadley took home the gold in the men's shot put, throwing for a distance of 56' 4".
The 4 x 400 relay team of
Breanna Miles,
Laila Hardin,
Leanza Dwaah, and
Sydney Burdine take first crossing the finish line at 3:58.70.
The men's 4 x 400 relay team of Brema, Crawford, Garrett, and
Louis Primeau placed first (3:27.49).
New Personal Bests
Freshman
Molly Grohmann posted a new personal best on a 17'9.75" long jump mark for third.
With a jump of 21' 2" (6th)
Jacob Miller notched a new personal best.
Mackenzie Williams throws the shot put for a distance of 41'9.25 for a new personal best for third.
In the men's 55m Hurdles
Trystan Wright and
Isaac Readnour ran the race in 7.99 (4th) and 8.00 (5th), both recording new personal bests.
In the men's 400-meter
Momoh Brema notches third, running the footrace in 52.27 while achieving a new PR.
Clay Alewelt chalked up a new PR with a throw of 55' 5" for fourth in the shot put.
Top Three Placers
Makenzie Williams threw for a distance of 55'2.75" for second in the women's weight throw.
Transfer from Louisiana Monroe
Alivia Busch threw for marks of 55' 2.25" (3rd) and 42' 10.75" (2nd) in the weight throw and shot put.
Sophomore
Colin Beers led the Redhawks placing third in the men's pole vault, vaulting over a height of 15' 1"
Paden Lewis finishes with the silver medal in the weight throw (67'2.75") and the shot put (56' 2").
Natalie Miner Vaults for third in pole vault (9'6.25").

Aarion Jackson notched a silver medal in the long jump (22'5.75") and bronze medal in the triple jump (44'8.75")
Ciara Potter claims second in the women's triple jump (34' 9").
Madelyn Gray achieved a time of 5:14.54 for second in the women's mile.

Grohmann recorded a jump of 5'5" (2nd) in the women's high jump.

Anna Thomason ran the 55m hurdles in 8.31 for second.
In the women's 800-meter
Brianna Payton crossed the line at 2:23.57 for second.
Mark Crawford ran the 800 in 1:59.87 for third.
Freshman
Brooklyn Bender placed second in her first ever 3000-meter (10:49.97).
Noah Little grabbed the bronze medal in the 3000-meter (8:40.06)
Top Five Finishes
Tanner Knootz, Shea Degraaf, and Readnour all tied for fifth in the men's pole vault (14'7.25").
Kaitlyn McGinnitey and Thomason placed third and fourth in the women's long jump for marks of 17'6.75" and 17' 6.25".
With marks of 63'5" and 58'3" Swadley and Alewelt finished in fourth and fifth in the men's weight throw.
With a triple jump of 34'7.50"
Todjai Ross notched fourth in the women's triple jump.
Layla Fliege finished in fifth (5:25.60) for the Redhawks in the women's mile.Â
In the 55m hurdles
Megan Aubuchon (8.64) and McGinnitey (8.66) notch fourth and fifth place.
Fox chalked up a fifth place finish in the women's 800 (2:27.33).
In the men's 800-meter, Senior
Louis Primeau placed fifth, crossing the line at 2:00.29.
Brema and Gordon place fourth (23.43) and fifth (23.71) in the 200-meter.
Feuerborn threw the shot put for a 52' 0.50" mark for fifth.
In the women's 3000-meter
Kayla Vogelsang and
Haley Smith notched fourth (10:59.77) and fifth (11:15.82).
Jumping over a 6' 2.75" height on the high jump helped
Mason Clough notch fourth place.
Garrett Duke ran his only race in 8:51.68 for fourth in the 3000.
