STARKVILLE, Miss. - Breanna Miles broke the school record during day three of the Bulldog Relays. The Redhawks rounded out the last day with five new PRs and 15 top five finishes.
Record Again?!!
Breanna Miles, the junior from Memphis, Tenn. broke the school record in the women's 200-meter race as she crossed the line in 23.71. Miles broke the record previously held by Jerika Lewis (23.91) set in 2013.
She also broke the indoor 200-meter record twice during the indoor season, making this her third record this year.
Atop the Podium
Katie Wegmann, the senior from Mequon, Wisconsin crossed the line at 4:27.15 to stand alone atop the podium in the women's 1500-meter.
Nick Cimmarusti crossed the line at 8:33.65 to take home the gold in the men's 3000-meter.
New Personal Best Coming In
Anna Thomason recorded a new personal best in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing in 14.70.
Breanna Miles and
Leanza Dwaah both recorded a new PR in the Women's 100-meter dash, placing eighth (11.71) and 10th (11.80), respectively.
Brenden Parham finished the 100-meter in 10.96 for a new PR.
Leanza Dwaah achieved another new personal best in the 200-meter, running a 24.82.
Top Five
In the women's 1500-meters,
Taylor Fox took the silver medal finishing with a time of 4:32.81.
Terrico Garrett finished in second place with a time of 3:56.91 in the men's 1500-meter.
Clara Billing grabs the bronze medal in the Pole Vault, achieving a mark of 3.80m
Madelyn Gray finishes in fifth (4:39.46) in the women's 1500.
The 4x400 team of
Breanna Miles,
Erika Mellor,
Laila Hardin and
Leanza Dwaah placed fourth (3:59.16).
The 4x400 team of
Taylor Fox,
Katie Wegmann,
Madelyn Gray, and
Layla Fliege placed fifth (4:03.14).
Men's 4x400 Team of
Brenden Parham,
Brock Wood,
Terrico Garrett, and Mark Crawford took fourth (18.37)
In the men's shot put the men took four spots out of the top ten.
Dylan Clark finished fourth (16.17m),
Marshall Swadley fifth (16.14m),
Clay Alewelt seventh (15.10m) and
Quinton Maxwell 10th (13.78m).
The women's javelin saw
Marysa Flieg place fourth with a throw of 41.72 and
Jaden Kight finish sixth with a distance of 40.29-meters.
Nick Cimmarusti and
Justin Splitt took fifth and sixth in the 1500-meter. Cimmarusti crossed the line at 4:01.60 and Splitt finished in 4:06.64.
Hannah Eastman finished in fourth in the Women's 3000-meter (10:30.27).

Erika Mellor finished with a time of 2:21.77 in the women's 800-meter for 10th.

Bailee Hux threw for a mark of 13.27m (7th) and 12.70m (8th) in the women's shot put.
Aarion Jackson placed seventh in the men's long jump, jumping for 6.93m.
In the men's javelin
Justin Breault threw for 59.38m (7th) and
Josiah Kilgore achieved a 55.16m mark (9th).
Tanner Koontz vaults for a height of 4.60m to place ninth.
Looking Ahead
The Redhawks will be back in action Friday March 31 - April 1 for the Joey Haines Invitational at the Abe Stuber Track Complex. This is the first and only home meet of the outdoor season for the Southeast Missouri Track & Field team.
