LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Southeast Missouri's track & field teams racked up five first-place finishes, 13 top-three showings and a total of 20 personal bests in an outstanding effort at the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic Friday.
It was the first time SEMO competed on the road outside the state of Indiana during its indoor campaign. Prior to today, the Redhawks visited the Purdue Edmonds-Wilt Invitational (Dec. 10), Indiana State John Gartland Invite (Jan. 20) and Indiana Relays (Jan. 27-28).

Record Broken!!
Breanna Miles, a sophomore from Memphis, Tennessee, earned a new personal best and broke the SEMO record in the women's 200-meter, winning the event with a time of 24.28. Miles also

Breanna Miles had an outstanding day as she earned a new PR and broke the Southeast Missouri State record in the women's 200-meter for a first-place finish with a time of 24.28. Miles took third in the 60-meter dash with a 7.68 mark.

Ross placed fourth, Jackson came in second (long jump) and fourth (triple jump), Wegmann was just shy of the school record in the mile run where she finished third, Parham placed fifth, Cimmarusti finished fourth, Johnson placed seventh and Fox claimed first in their respective events.

Piper Klinger was at the top of the podium in the women's weight throw (62-03.25) and
Luke Hatfield-Jackson won the high jump (6-08.75). Hatfield-Jackson garnered a first-place finish for the second week in a row.
Taylor Fox won the women's 800-meter with a time of 2:10.56 which was also a meet.
Terrico Garrett posted a first-place finish and broke a meet record with a time of 1:52.40 in the 800 meter.
Notable Performers
Sophomore Madalyn Gray crossed the finish line in third in the 800-meter crossing the line at 2:14.22.
Marshall Swadley and
Clay Alewelt took second and third in shot put, respectively. Swadley achieved a 53-03.00 mark and Alewelt a 51-09.00. In the 60-meter hurdles, senior
Brock Wood placed fourth with a time of 8.55. Freshmen
Tanner Koontz and
Colin Beers both tied for third in the men's pole vault with heights of 14-07.25.
Justin Splitt was fifth (1:54.23) in the men's 800-meter. Chris Johnson attained a fourth-place finish in the long jump with a 22-09.25 jump. SEMO put four throwers in the top five in the weight throw,
Parker Feuerborn paved the way with a second-place finish (68-07.75),
Dylan Clark was close behind in third,
Marshall Swadley secured fourth

Sophie Dubis reached third in the women's high jump 5-03.00.
Clara Billing earned a fourth-place finish in the women's pole vault with a height of 12-05.50. In the men's triple jump, freshman
Luke Busateri finished third with a 46-01.25. The 4x400 team of

Brenden Parham finished fourth at 3:20.17.
