Southeast Missouri (0-3) closes out a two-game home stand when it hosts Central Arkansas (1-3) Monday. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m., CT at the Show Me Center.

80s Night
Monday is 80s Night at the Show Me Center. Southeast Missouri will wear special edition throwback uniforms against Central Arkansas. Free jersey t-shirts will also be available while supplies last.

Series History
The Redhawks face Central Arkansas for the first time in seven years when the Bears come to Cape Girardeau. Southeast Missouri last beat UCA, 87-63, on Dec. 1, 2016. SEMO leads the all-time series, 9-6, and has defeated the Bears in five of the last seven matchups between the teams. SEMO is 7-1 all-time against UCA at home.

Famous Bear
Central Arkansas is where Scottie Pippen played his college basketball. Pippen, a six-time NBA Champion formerly with the Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers was initially a walk-on at UCA. At the time, the Bears played in the NAIA and did not receive much media coverage. Pippen grew from 6'1" from when he graduated high school to 6'8" during his time at UCA. As a college senior, he averaged 23.6 points, 10 rebounds, 4.3 assists and shot nearly 60 percent from the field en route to consensus NAIA All-America honors in 1986 and 1987. Pippen, now 58 years old, is from Hamburg, Arkansas.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Southeast Missouri's matchup with Central Arkansas is its last game before the Thanksgiving holiday. SEMO heads to Chattanooga, Tennessee for the Coke Zero Sugar Classic Nov. 25-26. There, the Redhawks face Evansville (Nov. 25) and host Chattanooga (Nov. 26).

Redhawks Drop Home-Opener
The Redhawks dropped their home-opener to Evansville, 76-57, on Nov. 15. Southeast Missouri is now 24-9 all-time in home-openers since it joined the NCAA Division I ranks in 1991-92.

3-Pointer Streak
As a team, Southeast Missouri has made at least one 3-pointer in 462 consecutive games. The last time SEMO did not have a made 3-pointer was vs. Western Illinois (0-of-6) on Dec. 10, 2008.

Looking for First Win
The Redhawks are on a three-game losing streak early in the 2023-24 campaign. Southeast Missouri fell to both Grand Canyon (88-67, Nov. 6) and Butler (91-56, Nov. 10) on the road, and Evansville (76-57, Nov. 15) at home.

Larson Starts Strong
Adam Larson is off to a nice start for Southeast Missouri this season. Larson scored double figures in back-to-back games for the first time in his career. He led SEMO with 13 points at Grand Canyon (Nov. 6) and 11 points at Butler (Nov. 10). Larson came off the bench in each of those contests. He scored all of his points in the second half against Butler. Larson is SEMO's top scorer with 10.3 points per game and leads the team with seven 3-pointers made thus far. Additionally, he has seven double- digit scoring games in his career.

Keep Knocking Them Down
Adam Larson has made three 3-pointers in three of his last four games dating back to the end of last season. Larson finished with three 3-pointers at both Grand Canyon (Nov. 6) and Butler (Nov. 10), and did the same in Southeast Missouri's NCAA First Four matchup with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Mar. 14, 2023). Larson ranks seventh in the Ohio Valley Conference in 3-point fied goal percentage (7-of-13, .538) this year.

Coming Up on 50
Adam Larson is approaching 50 three- pointers made in his career. Larson enters Monday's game against Central Arkansas with 46 career 3-pointers made.

Top-Three in the OVC
Southeast Missouri is among the top three in the Ohio Valley Conference in three categories. SEMO ranks tied for second in the league in steals (8.3 spg) and is third in both 3-point field goal percentage (.359) and 3-point field goals made (23) through three games this season.

Martin Second in OVC in Assists
Point guard Rob Martin is tied for second in the Ohio Valley Conference with 11 assists in three starts this season. Martin had a season-high five assists at Butler (Nov. 10). He shares that spot with Tennessee State's Marcus Fitzgerald Jr.

Back to Work
Freshman guard BJ Ward is back in action after missing one game with a concussion. Ward missed the game at Butler (Nov. 10), but returned to score a season-high nine points in 24 minutes off the bench vs. Evansville (Nov. 15).

About Central Arkansas
Atlantic Sun member Central Arkansas makes a trip to Cape Girardeau for the first time in seven years. UCA last played a game at the Show Me Center on Dec. 1, 2016 (L, 87-63). The Bears are 1-7 all-time against the Redhawks in Cape Girardeau. UCA is 1-3 with its only win over NCAA Division III member Hendrix College. The Bears have two starters averaging double figures with Elias Cato scoring 18.3 and Tucker Anderson averaging 13.3 points per game. UCA is last in the Atlantic Sun in scoring defense giving up 81.5 points per contest.
