Series History
Southeast Missouri holds an 81-26-1 lead in its all-time series against UT Martin. SEMO has won 22 of the last 27 games in the series. The Redhawks posted a 2-1 series victory in their only Ohio Valley Conference series at UT Martin before the 2020 season was canceled due to COVID-19.

Midweek vs. OVC
Tuesday's matchup with UT Martin is one of two midweek games Southeast Missouri will play against Ohio Valley Conference opponents. SEMO is also scheduled to face Austin Peay in Clarksville, Tennessee on Apr. 28. Neither of those games will count as league games.

Mason's Hitting Streak Ends at 11 Games 
Jevon Mason's hitting streak ended at 11 games at Murray State (Apr. 9). Mason registered multiple hits a total of eight times during his hitting streak, the longest of any Redhawk this season. He is presently the only Redhawk that put together a double-digit game hitting streak in 2021.

Midweek Games
The Redhawks are 1-2 in midweek games this season with an 8-6 win at Saint Louis (Mar. 16), a 21-4 loss to #22 Southern Illinois (Mar. 24) and a 9-8 setback vs. Missouri State (Mar. 30). Southeast Missouri is 14-25 all-time in midweek action under Head Coach Andy Sawyers.

Nine OVC Wins 
Southeast Missouri is at the top of the Ohio Valley Conference standings with Morehead State. SEMO (9-6) leads the OVC with nine conference wins, but is second in terms of winning percentage (.600) in league games behind the Eagles (6-3, .667). The Redhawks have played six more OVC games than MSU.

Redhawks Beat Murray State 
The Redhawks took two of three from then Ohio Valley Conference leader Murray State (Apr. 9-10). SEMO swept the Racers in a doubleheader by scores of 8-3 and 12-8 to claim its 2-1 series victory. Tyler Wilber led Southeast Missouri hitting .462 with three runs, three doubles, a home run and five RBI against MSU.

Season-Highs 
Southeast Missouri established season-highs in hits (13) and runs (12) during its doubleheader sweep of Murray State (Apr. 9). The Redhawks scored 20 runs on 25 hits in that twin bill. SEMO had a total of 34 hits against the Racers, its most in a any series this season.  

Wilber on Seven-Game Hitting Streak 
Tyler Wilber looks to keep his hitting streak intact when Southeast Missouri heads to UT Martin Tuesday. Wilber has hit safely in seven-straight games and recorded three or more hits in four of those contests.  

Over .400
Jevon Mason leads Southeast Missouri with a .403 batting average. Mason, who has played in 20 games and logged 17 starts, also tops the Redhawks with a .512 on-base percentage. He is one of four players in the Ohio Valley Conference hitting over .400 with a minimum of 17 starts. Trey Sweeney (EIU, .413, 30 starts), Jackson Feltner (MOR, .410,  22 starts) and Logan Eickhoff (EIU, .435, 22 starts) round out that group.

Wilber Logs 100th Career Start
Tyler Wilber made his 100th career start in game two of Southeast Missouri's doubleheader at Murray State (Apr. 9). Wilber, who has 101 starts as a Redhawk, is the third active player with over 100 starts joining Connor Basler (202) and Danny Wright (189).

About UT Martin
UT Martin is ninth in the Ohio Valley Conference with an overall record of 11-16 and 4-5 in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Skyhawks have lost six of their last eight contests and are coming off a 2-1 series loss at SIU Edwardsville (Apr. 9-10). UTM ranks second in the league with a 4.68 ERA. The Skyhawks are last in the conference in on-base percentage (.343) and lead the league in strikeouts (281). Christian Hall and Blake Daniels are hitting .323 and .308, respectively. 

200th Career Start
Second baseman Connor Basler made his 200th career start at Murray State (Apr. 9). Basler has played and started more games than any Redhawk on this year's roster. He currently leads the team with 207 games and 202 starts since joining the program in 2017.

Getting on Base
Andrew Keck has reached base in 18 consecutive games. Keck also hit safely in 16 of those contests. His reached base streak is the longest of any Redhawk this season. Jevon Mason also reached base in 13 straight games.

Career Stolen Base Record in Sight 
Connor Basler is second on the team with seven stolen bases this season. Basler ranks third all-time among Southeast Missouri's all-time career stolen base leaders with 49. He needs four more to break the school's all-time career record. Denver Stuckey (2000-03) currently holds the record with 52 stolen bases.

NCAA Top-25 Rankings
Peyton Leeper ranks 10th in the nation in triples (3). Connor Basler ranks 11th in sacrifice bunts (6). Dylan Dodd (8) and Noah Niznik (8) are fourth in games started. Dodd is also 16th nationally in strikeouts (63) and Tyler Wilber is 15th in hits (45).

Atop the OVC
Southeast Missouri leads the Ohio Valley Conference in stolen bases (40) and sacrifice bunts (19). Individually, Peyton Leeper is tied for first in triples (3) and Dylan Dodd is first in strikeouts (63) and innings pitched (49.2). Additionally, Austin Blazevic is first in putouts (228) and Wade Stauss is tied for first in fielding percentage (1.000). Additionally, Tyler Wilber is tied for first among league foes in hits (45).

Wilber Fourth in the OVC in Batting Average
Shortstop Tyler Wilber ranks third in the Ohio Valley Conference with a .395 batting average. Wilber is also tied for first among league leaders in hits (45), seventh in on-base percentage (.455), tied for eighth in RBI (27)  and sixth in total bases (64).  

13 and Counting
Tyler Wilber leads Southeast Missouri and stands tied for first in the Ohio Valley Conference with 13 multiple-hit games this season. Wilber and Eastern Illinois' Logan Eickhoff (13) share the top spot in that category. Wilber collected multiple hits a total of 49 times during his SEMO career.
