Biography

2020 (Shortened due to COVID-19): Southeast Missouri’s leadoff hitter who started all 17 games in center field…Hit .359 with 12 runs, four doubles, a triple, two home runs and 16 RBI…Finished with a .513 slugging percentage and .412 on-base percentage…Ranked third on the team with six stolen bases…Added eight multiple-hit games and collected multiple RBI on four occasions…Ended the shortened season on an eight-game hitting streak…Reached base safely in 11-straight games…Hit a grand slam as part of a three-hit performance vs. Northern Illinois (2/22)…Had three hits and a season-high five RBI at UT Martin (3/7)…Registered a total of five games with three hits…Tied for first in the Ohio Valley Conference in hits (29), tied for ninth in total bases (41), tied for fourth in hit by pitch (4), tied for fifth in stolen bases (6) and led the league in at-bats (78).

2018: Hit .258 in 52 games and 50 starts…Made 33 of his starts in center field…Added 50 hits, three doubles, a triple, three home runs and 29 RBI…Ranked second on the team with 25 walks and was hit by a pitch nine times, also second-most on the team…Tied for third with eight stolen bases…Made just one error and boasted a .993 fielding percentage…Recorded multiple hits in seven games and multiple-RBI in six of his starts…Turned in a season-high five RBI at Austin Peay (3/31)…Posted seven games with three hits…Went 3-for-5 with a season-best three runs scored at Tennessee Tech (4/29)…Held an eight-game hitting streak from Apr. 8-21.
 
2017: Landed a spot on the OVC All-Newcomer Team...Second-Team Perfect Game and Rawlings Sporting Goods Freshman All-American...Also earned Collegiate Baseball Newspaper and National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Freshman All-America status... Named to the OVC All-Tournament Team...SEMO’s top hitter with a .376 batting average in 51 games and 48 starts...Started the final 44 games of the season at second base...Registered 67 hits, 13 doubles, three triples, five home runs and 36 RBI...Ranked second on the team with a .472 on-base percentage...Boasted a .567 slugging percentage...Stole nine bases and committed just seven errors...Ranked sixth in the OVC in batting average and fourth in on-base percentage...Hit .408, had a .602 slugging percentage and recorded a .508 on-base percentage in 30 conference games...Had multiple-hits in 22 contests...Hit safely in each of his last 10 games of the season...Had three hits, a home run and four RBI vs. Saint Louis (4/18)... Prep: Four-year starter and at Fort Zumwalt West High School…Earned First-Team All-Conference honors, was a First-Team All-District selection and Second-Team All-State infielder as a senior…Garnered First-Team All-Conference and All-District honors as a sophomore…Was named Second-Team All-Conference as a utility player his freshman year…Helped lead the Jaguars to a conference championship as a senior and a district title as a freshman…Played soccer and basketball…Won the Jaguar Award twice and was a three-time Defensive MVP in soccer…Three-time First-Team All-Conference soccer player, who also claimed All-Region honors.
