Redhawks Host Tennessee Tech
Southeast Missouri (5-19, 1-10) hosts Tennessee Tech (5-19, 2-9) Saturday. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m., CT, at the Show Me Center.

Hall of Fame Weekend
Southeast Missouri inducted six individuals and one team into its Athletics Hall of Fame Friday night. The 2019 Hall of Fame Class includes Jewell Crawford (Basketball, 1980-84), Cindy Gannon (Volleyball Coach, 1999-2004; Senior Associate Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator, 2005-2018), Beth Guccione (Soccer, 1999-2001), Gerald Jones (Cross Country/Track & Field, 1959-1962), Ashley Godwin (Gymnastics, 2001-2004), Larry Yeargain (Football, 1952-55) and the 1984 Women's Cross Country team. Members of the 2019 Hall of Fame Class will be recognized during the men's basketball game Saturday.

Series History
Saturday marks the 50th meeting between Southeast Missouri and Tennessee Tech. TTU holds a 27-22 lead in the all-time series. The Redhawks won two of the last three matchups with both of those victories coming at the Show Me Center. SEMO beat the Golden Eagles, 71-66, in overtime the last time these teams met on Feb. 7, 2019.

Hogan Goes Over 500
Skyler Hogan came off the bench to score 16 points against Jacksonville State (Feb. 2). As a result, Hogan went over 500 points in his Southeast Missouri career. He now has 511 following that performance.

Redhawks Win!
Southeast Missouri ended a season-long 10-game losing streak with its first Ohio Valley Conference win over Jacksonville State (76-72) on Feb. 6. It was the Redhawks first OVC win since a 89-74 victory over Tennessee State on Feb. 28, 2019. SEMO also snapped a 15-game losing streak against NCAA Division I opponents.

A Look Ahead
Southeast Missouri plays four of its final seven games at home. SEMO hosts Tennessee Tech (Feb. 8), UT Martin (Feb. 13) and SIU Edwardsville (Feb. 15) during that stretch.

Super Slam
Sage Tolbert scored 14 points against Jacksonville State (Feb. 6). Tolbert had five dunks in the game for 10 of his points. He leads the team with 12 dunks this year.

Strong to the Finish
The Redhawks shot a season-best 56.9 percent (29-of-51) from the field against Jacksonville State (Feb. 6). It marked the fourth time this season where the Redhawks shot 50 percent or better from the floor.

Last Time Out
Southeast Missouri put together a strong performance and withstood a late run to beat Jacksonville State, 76-72, Thursday. SEMO held a 62-44 lead with 11:37 left to play in the game when JSU put together a 24-9 run to pull within three (71-68). The Redhawks answered by scoring five of the game's seven points to nail down the win. 

Two Starts for Gable
Isaiah Gable has started each of the last two games. Gable made his first start of the season at Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 1). He scored six points, had four rebounds and dished out two assists in 31 minutes. Gable then scored three points in 22 minutes against Jacksonville State (Feb. 6).

All Twenty-Four
Forward Sage Tolbert is the only player who has started all 24 games for Southeast Missouri this year. Tolbert  logged 32-consecutive starts dating back to last season.

Redhawks at Home
The Redhawks are 4-5 at the Show Me Center with wins over Purdue Fort Wayne (79-78, Nov. 10), Missouri S&T (72-71, Nov. 22), Missouri Baptist (74-59, Dec. 29) and Jacksonville State (76-72, Feb. 6).

Leading at the Half
Southeast Missouri held its biggest halftime lead of the season when it built a 43-30 advantage against Jacksonville State (Feb. 6).  SEMO is 4-2 in games where it leads at halftime.

About Tennessee Tech
Tennessee Tech is currently 11th in the Ohio Valley Conference standings, one spot ahead of Southeast Missouri. TTU is 5-19 overall and 2-9 in the OVC under first-year head coach John Pelphrey. The Golden Eagles come to Cape Girardeau on a four-game losing streak. Jr. Clay has led TTU in scoring during eight of the Golden Eagles last 10 games.
