Series History
Southeast Missouri meets Eastern Illinois for the 56th time Thursday. EIU holds a 31-24 lead in the all-time series. The Redhawks won four of their last five matchups with the Panthers. EIU edged SEMO, 61-59, during the last meeting on Jan. 25 in Charleston.

Season Finale
The Redhawks wrap up their 2019-20 season at UT Martin. Southeast Missouri and UTM face each other in a regular-season finale for the second time in three years. The last time SEMO ended a regular season with a win was on Feb. 28, 2015 (89-65, vs. Austin Peay).

Redhawks Eliminated from OVC Tournament
With its 71-62 loss to Tennessee Tech (Feb. 22), Southeast Missouri was eliminated from this year's eight-team Ohio Valley ConferenceTournament. SEMO, UT Martin and SIU Edwardsville are officially out of the OVC Tournament race. The Redhawks last made the OVC Tournament in 2016-17.

February Update
The Redhawks are currently 3-4 in February. Southeast Missouri closes out its 2019-20 season with a home game against Eastern Illinois (Feb. 27) and road contest at UT Martin (Feb. 29) this week.

Last Time Out
For the second time this season, Southeast Missouri lost to Eastern Illinois by two points. The Redhawks fell short in a 72-70 loss to the Panthers in their final home game of the season Thursday. SEMO trailed, 38-26, at halftime, but battled back to take a 68-67 lead on Skyler Hogan's layup with 2:07 left to play. The Redhawks later pulled within a point on a layup by Alex Caldwell and had the ball with 4.5 seconds remaining. Caldwell, however, missed a baseline jumper as time expired. Caldwell got both of the final shots off against EIU this year.

Wilson Delivers
Quatarrius Wilson has scored double figures in five-straight games. Wilson is recently coming off a season-high 19-point effort against Eastern Illinois (Feb. 27). He is now averaging 7.1 points a game.

Hogan Steps Up
Skyler Hogan has also scored double-digits in five-consecutive games. Hogan most recently dropped in 14 points against Eastern Illinois (Feb. 27). It marked the 30th double-digit scoring game in Hogan's career.

Looking for First Road Win
Southeast Missouri is 0-15 in true road games this season and has dropped 17-straight road contests dating back to last year. The Redhawks last road win was an 88-79 victory at Eastern Illinois on Feb. 16, 2019.

Close Games
Southeast Missouri has played nine games that were decided by four points or less this season. The Redhawks are 5-4 in those contests.

All 30
Forward Sage Tolbert is the only player who has started all 30 games for Southeast Missouri this year. Tolbert  logged 38-consecutive starts dating back to last season.

About UT Martin
Like Southeast Missouri, UT Martin also won't be heading to this year's Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. UTM is one spot ahead of SEMO in the OVC standings with an overall record of 8-20 and 4-13 in the conference. Quintin Dove and Parker Stewart are the Skyhawks top scoring threats. Dove leads the team with 20 points per game and Stewart follows with 19.2 points per contest. UTM is last in the conference in scoring defense with 82.3 points per game allowed.
