Redhawks Hit the Road Again
Southeast Missouri (9-18, 4-10)Â hits the road for its final two away games this week. The Redhawks visit Austin Peay (19-8, 11-3) Thursday.

Series History
Austin Peay holds a 39-22 lead in its all-time series against Southeast Missouri. APSU won each of the last four meetings and six of the previous seven matchups in the series. SEMO is 3-3 in its last six trips to Clarksville, Tennessee.
Looking Ahead
After Thursday's game, Southeast Missouri heads to Murray State for its final road game of the season. Saturday concludes a season-long four-game road stretch for the Redhawks.
OVC Update
Southeast Missouri is in a three-way tie for 10th in the Ohio Valley Conference standings entering this week's action. SEMO, Eastern Kentucky and SIU Edwardsville share that spot with 4-10 league records. Belmont (12-2) and Murray State (12-2) are tied for first with Austin Peay (11-3) and Jacksonville State (11-3) close behind.
Season Sweep
The Redhawks completed their first sweep of an Ohio Valley Conference opponent when it beat Eastern Illinois, 88-79, on Feb. 16. This year marked the second-straight where Southeast Missouri beat the Panthers twice.
Big Road Win
Southeast Missouri picked up its first Ohio Valley Conference road win of the season with its 88-79 victory over Eastern Illinois (Feb. 16). The Redhawks ended an eight-game road losing streak and moved to 1-7 in away games against league foes. SEMO's last win on the road was at Mississippi Valley State (77-57) on Dec. 4.
Career Day for Dalton
Senior point guard Jonathan Dalton scored a career-high 17 points and went over 300 career assists in Southeast Missouri's win over Eastern Illinois (Feb. 16). Dalton shot 4-of-6 from the field and accounted for eight of SEMO's nine free throws made. He also went over 300 career assists after finishing with five dishes against the Panthers.
Mr. Double-Double
Freshman Gabe McGlothan recorded a double-double in three of his last four games. McGlothan finished with with 27 points and 16 rebounds vs. Tennessee Tech (Feb. 7), 13 points and 10 boards against Jacksonville State (Feb. 9) and 13 points and 10 rebounds at Eastern Illinois (Feb. 16). He has a team-high four double-doubles this season and became the first Redhawk to get a double-double in back-to-back games since Antonius Cleveland accomplished the feat vs. Belmont (13 pts., 11 reb.) and Tennessee State (21 pts., 10 reb.) in 2015-16.
Climb to 100
Jonathan Dalton is seven assists away from reaching 100 in his career. Dalton has 93 assists and averages 3.4 per game this season. If he hits the mark, it will be the second year in a row where Dalton has dished out 100 assists.
More Season-Highs
Southeast Missouri reached new season-highs in field goal percentage and assists at Eastern Illinois (Feb. 16). The Redhawks shot 54 percent (34-of-63) for their best field goal percentage in an Ohio Valley Conference game and added 23 assists. It was the third time SEMO shot over 51 percent this season and third where the Redhawks got 20 or more assists.
Eighty or More
The Redhawks 88 points against Eastern Illinois (Feb. 16) matched a season-high in Ohio Valley Conference play. Southeast Missouri won that game, 88-79, marking the second time it was victorious in a game it scored 80Â or more points this year. SEMO scored 80 or more on five occasions and is 2-3 in those contests.
Nice Lift
Guard Oscar Kao gave Southeast Missouri a big boost off the bench in its latest 88-79 win at Eastern Illinois (Feb. 16). Kao scored a season-high nine points and had four assists in 19 minutes. He has played in 16 games off the bench this year.
Rebounding Machine
For the fifth time this season, Gabe McGlothan reached double figures in the rebound column when he grabbed 10 at Eastern Illinois (Feb. 16). McGlothan leads the team and ranks ninth in the Ohio Valley Conference with 6.3 rebounds per game.
Fourth OVC Win
Southeast Missouri put together a strong 40 minutes of basketball to claim its fourth Ohio Valley Conference win of the season with an 88-79 victory over Eastern Illinois (Feb. 16). The Redhawks shot 54 percent (34-of-63)Â from the field and buried 11 three-pointers to go along with a season-best 23 assists. SEMO shot a red-hot 57.6 percent (19-of-33) from the field and had an assist on 16 of those made field goals in the first half alone.
Rebounding Margin
Southeast Missouri posted its largest rebounding margin in Ohio Valley Conference play this season when it outrebounded Eastern Illinois, 38-25 (+13), on Feb. 16. The Redhawks also tallied 31 defensive rebounds. It was the fourth time SEMO outrebounded an opponent by double-digits.
Draining 3s
The Redhawks matched a season-high 14 three-pointers at Florida State (Dec. 17). Southeast Missouri shot 14-of-37 behind the arc with seven treys in each half. SEMO made 11 or more 3-pointers in 10 contests. The Redhawks are averaging 8.4 three-point field goals made per game.

Austin Peay, currently in a tie for second with Jacksonville State in the Ohio Valley Conference standings, enters Thursday's matchup after winning five of its last six games. APSU is coming off a 73-70 road win at Morehead State (Feb. 16). Before that, the Governors lost by two points (73-71) to Murray State (Feb. 14). APSU ranks fourth in the OVC in scoring with 81.9 points per contest. The Governors are second in 3-point field goal percentage (.381) and turnover margin (+4.0). Terry Taylor, who had a double-double 42 points and 18 rebounds against Morhead State, leads the Governors with 20 points per game. Taylor is one of four OVC players averaging 20 or more points in the scoring column.

Southeast Missouri is 23-41 in Ohio Valley Conference play under head coach Rick Ray. The Redhawks best OVC record with Ray at the helm was 9-7 in 2016-17. That year was also the last time SEMO made the OVC Tournament.
