Southeast Missouri (6-13, 1-5) returns home to host SIU Edwardsville (5-13, 1-5) Thursday. Tip-off is set for 7:45 p.m., CT, at the Show Me Center.

T-Shirt Thursday
Southeast Missouri's second "T-Shirt Thursday" is this week against SIU Edwardsville. T-shirts will be given to the first 1,000 fans for every Ohio Valley Conference Thursday home game this season.
Series History
The Redhawks hold a 20-10 lead in its all-time series against SIU Edwardsville. Southeast Missouri won four of its last five meetings between the teams and is 5-2 in its last seven contests against the Cougars. Seven of the previous eight matchups in the series were decided by seven or less points. SIUE and SEMO last met to open Ohio Valley Conference play on Jan. 3. The Cougars won that game, 94-88, in Edwardsville, Illinois.
Where They Stand
Southeast Missouri and SIU Edwardsville both enter Thursday's matchup with identical 1-5 Ohio Valley Conference records. SEMO is looking to snap a four-game losing streak and has dropped nine of its previous 10 contests. SIUE is on a five-game losing streak and hasn't won since it beat the Redhawks for its lone conference win on Jan. 3.
Last Time vs. SIUE
After trailing by 15 points (45-30) at halftime, Southeast Missouri heated up to shoot 62.1 percent (18-of-29) from the field and outscored SIU Edwardsville, 58-49, but came up short in a 94-88 loss on Jan. 3. Skyler Hogan scored 18 points to lead five players in double figures.
Brewer Clears 100
Ledarrius Brewer reached the 100 mark in career 3-pointers made and free throws made at Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 19). Brewer shot 3-of-7 from beyond the arc and 3-of-4 at the free throw line against the Colonels. He is now 100-of-298 (.336) from 3-point range and 102-of-138 (.739) at the free throw line as a Redhawk.
Season-High Free Throws
Southeast Missouri made a season-high 23-of-29 free throws against Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 19). The Redhawks hit 17-of-23 free throws in the second half alone. It was the second time SEMO made 20 or more free throws in a game this year.
Latest Road Swing
Southeast Missouri dropped two games in Kentucky by a combined six points last week. The Redhawks lost to Morehead State, 73-69, on Jan. 17 and, 85-83, to Eastern Kentucky on Jan. 19. SEMO has been on the short end of three losses by four or less points this season.
Over 80
The Redhawks scored more than 80 points for the third time this season when they nearly came from behind to catch Eastern Kentucky on Jan. 3. Southeast Missouri's 83 points against the Colonels are the Redhawks third-most in a game this season. SEMO scored a season-high 102 points vs. Quincy (Nov. 12) and 88 points vs. SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 3) during its other 80-plus point performances.
Clutch Caldwell
Freshman Alex Caldwell, who started his fourth-straight game, scored 10 points against Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 19). Caldwell went 4-of-8 from the field and converted a clutch 3-point play to tie the game at 83-83 with seven seconds left. He made a tough shot on the baseline and was fouled on the play. Caldwell was one of three Redhawks with double figures in the scoring column against the Colonels.
Hogan Scores 20 Again
Skyler Hogan a team-high 20 points and pulled down five rebounds in 27 minutes at Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 19). Hogan made 5-of-8 field goals and buried a season-best 10-of-13 free throws. It was the first time a Southeast Missouri player made over 10 free throws in a game since Ledarrius Brewer went 11-of-13 vs. SIU Edwardsville (Feb. 17, 2018).
OVC Update
Entering this week, Murray State (6-0) and Jacksonville State (6-0) are at the top of the Ohio Valley Conference standings with undefeated records in league play. MSU leads the OVC with 15 victories, while JSU follows close behind with 14. Austin Peay (5-1), Belmont (4-2) and Eastern Illinois (4-2) round out the teams with winning records in conference action. Morehead State (3-3), Eastern Kentucky (2-4), Tennessee Tech (2-4), Tennessee State (2-4), Southeast Missouri (1-5), SIU Edwardsville (1-5) and UT Martin (0-6) complete the current standings.
All 19 Starts
Sophomore Isaiah Gable and freshman Sage Tolbert are the only two Redhawks who have started every game this season. Gable is fourth on the team in scoring with 8.3 points per game and is the team's top scorer in Ohio Valley Conference games (14.2 ppg), while Tolbert tops Southeast Missouri in rebounding (6.2 rpg).
Draining 3s
The Redhawks matched a season-high 14 three-pointers at Florida State (Dec. 17). Southeast Missouri shot 14-of-37 behind the arc with seven treys in each half. SEMO made 11 or more 3-pointers in six of its last 11 contests. The Redhawks are averaging nine three-point field goals made per game.

SIU Edwardsville carries a five-game losing streak to Cape Girardeau Thursday. The Cougars' last win was against Southeast Missouri in the Ohio Valley Conference opener for both teams on Jan. 3. SIUE has lost three overtime games, including to in league play. The Cougars are last in the OVC in field goal percentage (.416), field goal percentage defense (.507), 3-point field goal percentage (.292), blocks (1.9) and assists (11.9). Tyresse Williford leads SIUE with 14.4 points a game. David McFarland follows with 11.8 per contest. McFarland scored 22 points against SEMO on Jan. 3.
