Series History
Southeast Missouri trails in the all-time series with UT Martin, 30-34. Since joining Division I, the Redhawks are 19-25 against the Skyhawks. In the Jan. 14 meeting in Martin, the Redhawks snapped a 14-game losing streak to the Skyhawks with an 82-79 victory. The last time Southeast defeated UTM was in 2009 when the Redhawks were victorious in the home-and-home series, history they will look to repeat this season.
Vying for a Spot
Heading into this weekend's games, the conference standings are in a near deadlock. Murray State and Tennessee Tech are tied for third with 7-6 records, SIUE sits in fifth with an even 7-7 record, while four teams, including SEMO, are tied for sixth with 6-7 records. The top eight teams go to the OVC Tournament. The bottom three teams all have four wins on the season. Belmont has already clinched the conference title and the No. 1 seed in the tournament.
Scouting the Skyhawks
UT Martin defeated Eastern Illinois and SIUE last week. Sophomore Myah Taylor recorded 18.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game off the bench last week to lead the team. She had 17 points, three rebounds, three assists at Eastern Illinois. She then had 19 points and a career-high eight rebounds in the win at SIUE. Junior Janekia Mason scored 12 points to go with six assists against EIU. She followed that up with 132 points, five rebounds and four assists versus the Cougars. Freshman Kendall Spray averaged 11.5 points and 2.5 assists. She had 11 points versus Eastern Illinois and 12 against SIUE. Jessy Ward returned from injury to score a season-best 21 points versus the Cougars. The Skyhawks have won five of their last six games to pull back into the conference race at 6-7.
In the last Meeting
The Redhawks defeated UT Martin this season for the first time since Feb. 21, 2009 when they were victorious on the road, 82-79. Southeast overcame an early 16-point deficit to ultimately defeat the Skyhawks. Southeast led by as much as 14 later in the game.

A Look Back
Hannah Noe set a career-high 29 points and tied the school record with nine made 3-pointers in Southeast Missouri's 107-65 victory at Eastern Illinois Saturday. For the second time this season and the first time in conference play, the Redhawks have won back-to-back games, going 2-0 against the OVC's Illinois schools last week. The win snapped an eight-game losing streak to EIU on the road. It was the first since Jan. 5, 2008. Southeast tied the school record with 107 points in a game for the second time this season; however, it's the most points scored by Southeast against a Division I opponent in its history. It was the first time SEMO has put up 100 points on a Division I opponent since defeating Tennessee Tech on Jan. 10, 2004, 102-90. The Redhawks also set a new school record with 17 made 3-pointers Saturday, topping the old record of 16. Aside from Noe, the Redhawks posted three others in double-figure scoring.
Bri Mitchell and
Deja Jones each had 15 points. Mitchell's double-digit point streak extends to seven games while Jones' extends to three games. Mitchell also dished out seven assists and grabbed five rebounds.
Kaley Leyhue recorded 11 points in the contest.
Adrianna Murphy picked up her fourth double-digit assist game of the season, dishing out 13 assists, one shy of tying her career high. The Redhawks' 59.4% (38-of-64) field goal percentage and 53.1% (17-of-32) 3-point shooting was a season-high in conference play and the best against a Division I opponent this season.

Her 65 makes this season ranks tied for fourth, just four shy of setting a new season record. The single-season record is 68 makes from long range held by Natalie Purcell (2005-06). Noe tied a school record with nine made threes at Eastern Illinois on Feb. 11.
Assists Superstar
Sophomore point guard
