Biography
2015-16 (Owens CC): In her lone season with Owens, Gulley broke several program records en route to finishing as the team’s second leading scorer... Averaged 12.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.9 steals per game while starting 35 of 36 games... Gulley finished 160-for-424 (37.7 percent) from the field, 104-for-312 (33.3 percent) from 3-point range and 21-for-29 (72.4 percent) from the foul line... Broke the previous records for most 3-point field goals attempted in a game, most 3-point field goals attempted and made in a season and most steals in a season with 103... She totaled 445 points on the season, which is the 20th highest single-season total and the 49th highest career total in program history... Scored at least 20 points four times, including a career-high 28 points on 10-for-16 shooting against Lorain County (3/3)... Went 8-for-13 from the 3-point line in that game... In addition to her scoring, she posted a career-high seven steals twice and a career-high 13 assists on Jan. 13 in a win over Edison... Named First Team All-Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) after averaging 14.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 4.1 steals per game in conference play... Finished 11th in the conference in scoring, third in assists and second in steals per game.
Prior to Owens: Signed with Cal State Fullerton out of high school... Earned a starting guard spot for the team’s first two games... Saw action in nine games overall, but decided to leave at the end of the semester then attended school closer to home in the spring.
Prep: Gulley was a three-year varsity starter at South Side... As a junior, she averaged 7.3 points, two assists, 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game and led her team to a 24-4 record, a 10-0 conference record and a trip to the Indiana state championship game... In that game, she recorded nine points in a 54-51 loss to undefeated Bedford North Lawrence... As a senior, Gulley was a participant in the Nancy Rehm Border Wars Classic... Earlier that year, she scored 22 points in a 78-60 win over Class 2A third-ranked Canterbury to earn the Fort Wayne Hoop Scoop Player of the Week award... Was a two-time First Team All-Summit Athletic Conference (SAC) selection and led her team to three sectional championships in addition to her state championship game run.
