Southeast Missouri (2-4) wraps up a two-game homestand and closes out November when it hosts NAIA member Hannibal-LaGrange (1-4) Tuesday. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m., CT, at the Show Me Center.

Non-Division I
The Redhawks welcome their second non-Division I opponent to Cape Girardeau this season. Southeast opened the year with a 81-69 victory over Missouri Baptist on Nov. 10. Missouri Baptist, like Hannibal-LaGrange is also a member of the American Midwest Conference. The Redhawks have won 26-straight games against non-Division I teams and hasn't lost to a non-Division I program since 2001-02 (62-52, vs. Birmingham Southern on Nov. 16).
Series History
Southeast is a perfect 6-0 all-time against Hannibal-LaGrange, an NAIA member out of the American Midwest Conference. The Redhawks outscored the Trojans by a combined 535-342 (+193) in six matchups, all at the Show Me Center. Southeast beat HLG, 86-54, in the last meeting on Nov. 13, 2016. The Redhawks are averaging 89.1 points per game in their series against the Trojans.
Carpenter and Vranes Make First Career Starts
Freshman Justin Carpenter and senior Milos Vranes made their first career starts against North Carolina Central (Nov. 26). Carpenter turned in a double-double 14 points and 11 rebounds, the first of his career and Southeast's second this season. Vranes scored three points and added seven rebounds in 19 minutes. Carpenter leads the Redhawks in rebounding (5.5 rpg) and is fourth in scoring (9.2 ppg).
Lineup Combinations
Southeast has used three different starting lineups in six games this season. Most recently, Ledarrius Brewer, Justin Carpenter, Milos Vranes, Denzel Mahoney and Jonathan Dalton took the court against N.C. Central (Nov. 26). That same five is expected to start again vs. Hannibal-LaGrange Tuesday.

The Redhawks wrap up their first month of the 2017-18 season at home against Hannibal-LaGrange Tuesday. Southeast, which has dropped three of its last four contests, is looking to end a two-game losing streak.
Redhawks Fall to N.C. Central
Southeast nearly overcame a 16-point deficit in a 77-70 loss to North Carolina Central (Nov. 26). The Redhawks trailed, 54-38, with a little over 15 minutes left in the game and later used a 13-2 run to pull to within a point. After Reggie Garner Jr. made a free throw to put NCCU ahead, 57-45, at the 12:10 mark the Redhawks scored 13 of the next 15 points. SEMO forced four turnovers and scored eight of its points at the free throw line during that stretch. Ledarrius Brewer's two free throws closed the Eagles lead to 59-58 with 8:44 remaining.Brewer missed a shot for the lead 40 seconds later and Denzel Mahoney turned the ball over before Pablo Rivas buried a 3-pointer at the 7:30 mark. Rasean Davis converted a 3-point play and followed that up with a layup to push NCCU's lead to 67-59. Daniel Simmons, who scored 13 of his 15 points in the second half, scored a layup to make it, 73-70, with 38 seconds on the clock. The Eagles then made four free throws to finish off the 77-70 win.
