Scouting the Panthers
Eastern Illinois comes to the Show Me Center on Saturday coming off an overtime victory over UT Martin on Wednesday. The win snapped a four-game losing skid for the Panthers as they improve to 6-13 on the season and 2-5 in OVC play. Grace Lennox leads the squad with 15.7 points per game with a team-high 85 assists. Lennox was named OVC Player of the Week on Jan. 10. Erica Brown follows with 11.7 points while leading the Panthers with 7.6 rebounds and 41 blocked shots on the season. A Look Back
A 30-point fourth quarter by Southeast Missouri helped erase a 17-point deficit to SIUE Wednesday but a 3-pointer at the buzzer lifted the Cougars to a one-point victory, 70-69. Southeast, who trailed 53-39 at the beginning of the fourth quarter, outscored SIUE 30-17 in the final 10 minutes to not only tie the game, but lead twice in the final two minutes. A 3-pointer by Lauren White with nine-tenths of a second on the clock lifted the Cougars to the 70-69 win. The Redhawks were led by career-high 15-point performances from
