Biography

2016-17: Played in every contest in her first season with the Redhawks… Averaged 5.1 rebounds a game… Led the sqaud with 32 blocks… Turned in a 12-rebound performance at Xavier (11/18), her first double-digit rebound game in a Redhawk uniform… Tied her season-high 12 rebounds against Lipscomb (12/6)… Recorded a season-high 15 points at SIUE (1/18) making six buckets and going a perfect 3-for-3 from the line while also grabbing five rebounds… Recorded 14 points and narrowly missed a double-double, finishing with nine rebounds with four blocks against SIUE (2/8).

2014-16 (Hutchinson CC): Helped lead the Hutchinson Blue Dragons t a 62-6 record over the last two seasons... In 2015-16, started 29 games... Averaged 9.69 points and 5.3 rebounds per game... Dished out 52 assists en route to a 27-4 record... In her freshman season in 2014-15, the Blue Dragons won the Jayhawk West Conference and Region 6 Championships as well as advanced to the NJCAA Division I Championship game... Fell to Chipola College, finishing as the national runner up in 2015. 

Prep: Played four-year letterwinner and three-year starter at Topeka High School... As a senior, was named the Shawnee County Winter Athlete of the Year as well as earned recognition as All-State 6A Honorable Mention, All-City First Team, and MVP Magazine’s JB’s Dream Team... Averaged 10.5 points, 10 rebounds, and 5.3 blocks per game during her senior campaign... Captain of her team as a junior and senior and her 231 blocks set the school’s all-time record in the category... Aside from basketball, Madden was a standout on the volleyball court as well as on the track & field team... She was a First Team All-City and All-Centennial League in volleyball as a senior... Graduated in the top five percent of her class and registered a 3.94 grade point average... Member of the National Honor Society, a Harvester Volunteer, on the Racial Equity Committee, a Circle K volunteer, and a Presidential Leader.

Personal: Born Oct. 19, 1995... Majoring in Health Communication... Daughter of Mark and Chrisy Madden... Sister Brianna played basketball for Bethany College and her brother John will play basketball for Butler Community College.
