Series History
Southeast holds a slight 25-23 advantage in its overall series against Eastern Illinois. EIU has won each of the last three meetings in the series. The Panthers held the Redhawks under 70 points in four-consecutive games. EIU won by three points in two of its last three trips to Cape Girardeau.

Ray Gets 50th Win
The Redhawks 79-76 victory over SIU Edwardsville Thursday gave Rick Ray his 50th career win as an NCAA Division I head coach. Ray notched 37 wins at Mississippi State and 13 at Southeast.

Number 500
Antonius Cleveland reached 500 rebounds in his career vs. SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 19). Cleveland currently ranks second on the team with 4.6 rebounds per game. He has recorded double-digit rebounds twice this season and 10 times in his career.

Minus Two
Southeast was without starting point guard Jamaal Calvin and forward William Tchiengang vs. SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 19). Calvin missed his first game of the season with a sprained right foot and Tchiengang was out due to eligibility reasons. The return for both Calvin and Tchiengang is undetermined at this time.

Eaddy Gets First Career Start
Freshman Tahj Eaddy made his first career start at point guard vs. SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 19). Eaddy scored 13 points and made a perfect 6-of-6 free throws in 29 minutes. He also had three rebounds, three assists and two steals. Eaddy is the Redhawks fourth-leading scorer in conference games this season with 9.3 points per contest.

Kellum Back in the Starting Lineup
Forward Trey Kellum made his first start since Dec. 10 when he took the court against SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 19). Kellum pitched in 13 points and led Southeast with seven rebounds in that game. He missed five games with a knee injury and came off the bench in five other contests leading up to Thursday.

Home Winning Streak
The Redhawks look to defend their four-game home winning streak when they host Eastern Illinois Saturday. Southeast beat Tennessee Tech, 84-75, on Jan. 10, Eastern Kentucky, 81-48, on Dec. 31, Henderson State, 89-75, on Dec. 29 and SIU Edwardsville, 79-76, on Jan. 19 in that stretch. Southeast is 7-2 at the Show Me Center and has the second-most home victories in the Ohio Valley Conference this year.

Conference Wins
Southeast picked up its third Ohio Valley Conference win when it held on to beat SIU Edwardsville, 79-76, on Jan. 19. The Redhawks surpassed their conference win total from last season with the victory.

Give it Up for the Freshman
Freshman Denzel Mahoney has scored double figures in seven-straight starts. Mahoney recently scored 20 or more point in back-to-back games for the first time in his caree when he dropped in a season-high 23 at UT Martin (Jan. 14) and pitched in 20 vs. SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 19). He scored double-digits in 16 of his 21 starts this year.

Last Time Out
Southeast overcame a slow start by shooting over 60 percent in the second half en route to a 79-76 win over SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 19). The Redhawks led by 14 points with 27 seconds left and survived a 12-1 SIUE run during that stretch. Denzel Mahoney led four Redhawks in double figures with 20 points.
