Series History
Southeast and Henderson State meet for the sixth time. The Redhawks own a slight 3-2 edge in the overall series. Southeast is 2-0 against HSU at the Show Me Center as the teams meet for the first time since 1985-86. The Redhawks beat the Reddies, 96-50, on Dec. 14.

Long Trip
The Redhawks spent an entire week on the road before the Christmas holiday. Southeast went 0-4 during that stretch, falling at Missouri State (Dec. 17) and DePaul (Dec. 19). The Redhawks then lost to Chicago State (Dec. 22) and Cornell (Dec. 23) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Southeast averaged just 67.7 points per game during its longest road trip of the season.

Seven-Game Skid
Southeast is looking to snap a season-long seven-game losing streak when it squares off against Henderson State Thursday. The Redhawks dropped an 83-55 decision at #10 Indiana (Dec. 4) before losing home games to Missouri State (79-71, Dec. 7) and Northern Kentucky (80-66, Dec. 10) and a pair of road matchups at Missouri State (71-66, Dec. 17) and DePaul (Dec. 19). The Redhawks then fell to Chicago State (74-65, Dec. 22) and Cornell (78-62, Dec. 23). Southeast has lost eight of its last nine and is currently 1-7 in December. The seven-game losing streak is currently the longest in the Ohio Valley Conference.

Las Vegas Classic Recap
The Redhawks wrapped up the Las Vegas Classic with a 0-4 record. Southeast made its first appearance in the event since 2008-09. The Redhawks are 1-7 all-time in Las Vegas Classic games.

Non-Division I
Southeast has won 24-straight games against non-Division I teams and hasn't lost to a non-Division I program since 2001-02 (51-62, vs. Birmingham Southern on Nov. 16).

Kellum Out
Forward Trey Kellum missed Southeast's last four games. Kellum did not play due to a knee injury he sustained during practice on Dec. 14. He is currently Southeast's top rebounder (6.7 rpg) and second-leading scorer (12.5 ppg) this year. Kellum is questionable for Thursday's matchup.

Cleveland Garners All-Tournament Honors
Antonius Cleveland secured Las Vegas Classic All-Tournament Team honors. Cleveland scored over 20 points in each of his first three starts of the tournament and finished with double figures four times. He scored 23 at Missouri State (Dec. 17) and followed that up with a career-high 28 at DePaul (Dec. 19) two days later. Cleveland then added 26 points vs. Chicago State (Dec. 22) and rounded out the tournament with 12 against Cornell (Dec. 23).

20-Point Man
Antonius Cleveland has scored over 20 points in three of his last four starts. Cleveland recently had 26 vs. Chicago State (Dec. 22) and averaged 22.3 per game in his last four contests. He raised his scoring average from 16.1 to 17.9 points during that stretch. Cleveland scored 20 or more points a total of six times thus far.

Last Time Out
Southeast never led in its latest 78-62 loss to Ivy League member Cornell (Dec. 23). Cornell got off to a red-hot start making six of its first seven field goals and four 3-pointers to build a 12-point lead. The Redhawks later pulled to within four (37-33), but that was as close as they would get. The loss marked Southeast's 10th of the season.

Benton and Eaddy Please Stand Up
Jaylen Benton and Tahj Eaddy each reached season-highs in the scoring column against Cornell (Dec. 23). Benton led all scorers with 16 points and made a perfect 8-of-8 at the free throw line, while Eaddy finished with 13 off the bench.
