Series History
Southeast and Cornell meet for the first time Friday. The Redhawks and Big Red each lost in their matchups on Dec. 22. Southeast fell to Chicago State, 74-65, and Cornell lost to Troy, 92-84.

Pre-Christmas Road Trip
The Redhawks have been on the road since Friday, Dec. 16. Southeast visited Missouri State (Dec. 17) before making a seven-and-a-half our bus trip to face DePaul (Dec. 19). Southeast flew from Chicago to Las Vegas, Nevada Tuesday and will round out its trip against Cornell.

Six-Game Skid
Southeast is looking to snap a season-long six-game losing streak when it squares off against Cornell Friday. The Redhawks dropped an 83-55 decision at #10 Indiana (Dec. 4) before losing home games to Missouri State (79-71, Dec. 7) and Northern Kentucky (80-66, Dec. 10) and a pair of road matchups at Missouri State (71-66, Dec. 17) and DePaul (Dec. 19). The Redhawks then fell to Chicago State (74-65, Dec. 22). Southeast has lost seven of its last eight and is currently 1-6 in December.

Las Vegas Classic
Wyoming, USC, DePaul, Missouri State, Cornell, Troy, Chicago State and Southeast are the eight teams participating in this year's Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic. The Redhawks play in the event for second time and make their first appearance since 2008-09. Southeast is 1-6 all-time in the Las Vegas Classic. The Redhawks beat Longwood (81-77) and lost to Kansas State (88-68), Iowa (75-41), Oakland City (81-63), Missouri State (71-66), DePaul (81-78) and Chicago State (74-65).

Kellum Out
Forward Trey Kellum missed Southeast's last three games. Kellum did not play due to a knee injury he sustained during practice on Dec. 14. He is currently Southeast's top rebounder (6.7 rpg) and second-leading scorer (12.5 ppg) this year. Kellum will be out for Friday's contest.

Mr. Consistency
Antonius Cleveland has scored over 20 points in three-straight games. Cleveland recently had 26 vs. Chicago State (Dec. 22) and averaged 25.7 per game over that span. He raised his scoring average from 16.1 to 18.3 points per contest this season. Cleveland scored 20 or more points a total of six times thus far.

Last Time Out
Southeast trailed by three points when Chicago State used a 6-0 run in the final 3:08 to finish off a 74-65 win Thursday. The Redhawks and Cougars battled to six ties and 10 lead changes before CSU took advantage of Southeast's three missed field goals and a turnover down the stretch. The Cougars scored 36 points in the paint, pulled down 13 offensive rebounds and scored half of their field goals on layups.

Another Milestone Ahead
Antonius Cleveland is coming up on 200 career assists. Cleveland needs just three more to reach that mark. He ranks third on the team with 28 assists this season.

Closing In
Jamaal Calvin is closing in on 100 career three-pointers made. Calvin leads the Redhawks with 19 threes this season and has a total of 97 in his career. He made a career-high six treys during his last start at DePaul (Dec. 19).

23 and Counting
Guard Antonius Cleveland scored double figures in 23-straight games and 30 of his last 31 starts. Cleveland leads the Redhawks with 67 double-digit scoring games and eight double-doubles in his career. He began the 2016-17 campaign with 10 points and scored the Redhawks first eight points of the season at Illinois (Nov. 11). It is the longest double-digit scoring streak of his career.

Cleveland Moves to Ninth in Scoring
Antonius Cleveland ranks among Southeast's all-time career leaders in scoring (9th, 1,245), free throws attempted (5th, 443), steals (5th, 129) and games started (5th, 89).
