League Play Resumes
Southeast resumes Ohio Valley Conference play with its first league road games of the season in Kentucky this week. The Redhawks won three OVC road games in each of their last five seasons and went a combined 15-26 during that stretch.

Series History
Morehead State holds a 25-27 lead in its all-time series against Southeast dating back to 1991-92. The Redhawks are looking to snap a four-game losing streak in the series and have dropped 12 of their last 13 matchups against the Eagles. Southeast is 7-14 all-time in Morehead and has lost in five-straight trips there. The last time the Redhawks won in Morehead was on Jan. 24, 2006 (61-59). Southeast last played at Ellis T. Johnson Arena in 2013-14. Additionally, MSU eliminated the Redhawks the last time these teams met at the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament on Mar. 4, 2015.

Conference Start
Southeast is off to a 0-2 start in Ohio Valley Conference play for the second time in three years. The Redhawks lost to OVC preseason-favorite Belmont (Dec. 31), 92-82, and Tennessee State (Jan. 2), 72-66, at home. Eleven of the 12 OVC schools opened league play last week. TSU (10) and Belmont (9) presently have the most overall wins in the conference.

Redhawk Rewind
The Redhawks held a 62-58 lead with 3:43 remaining before falling victim to a 14-4 run down the stretch as Tennessee State came back to win, 72-66, on Jan. 2. That game featured 13 ties, 10 lead changes and neither team led by more than seven points. Southeast scored under 70 points in a game for the ninth time in 14 games this season.

Double Time
Antonius Cleveland and Joel Angus III each contributed a double-double against Tennessee State (Jan. 2). Cleveland scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 37 minutes, while Angus followed with 13 points and a game-high 13 boards in 35 minutes. It marked the first time this season and first since Feb. 7, 2015 (Cleveland, 10 pts., 12 reb.; Nino Johnson, 10 pts., 10 reb., vs. Eastern Illinois) where two Redhawks had a double-double.

Scoring Starters
At least four Southeast starters have scored double figures in four-straight games. Antonius Cleveland (21), Joel Angus III (13), Eric McGill (13) and Trey Kellum (12) were the last to  accomplish that feat vs. Tennessee State (Jan. 2). Prior to conference play, all five of the Redhawks starters reached double-digits in back-to-back games at Missouri State (Dec. 22) and vs. Harris-Stowe (Dec. 27).

Worth Noting
Southeast has gone four-straight games with at least four of its starters with double figures in the scoring column for the first time since the 2004-05 season. The Redhawks went five games in a row from Jan. 29-Feb. 12. Four starters finished with 10 or more points vs. Tennessee State, at Eastern Illinois, at Murray State, at UT Martin and vs. Samford that year. Southeast was 15-14 overall and 9-7 in the Ohio Valley Conference in 2014-15.

Eight Away
Isiah Jones is eight 3-pointers away from reaching 100 in his career. Jones is currently 92-of-244 (.377) from 3-point range in his two-year Southeast career. He made two or more treys in six of his last seven starts.

Road to 1,000
Junior Antonius Cleveland currently has 814 points in his Southeast career. Cleveland is 186 away from getting 1,000 points. He is averaging a team-high 14.7 points per game with double figures in 11 of his 13 starts this year. The Redhawks had a player join the 1,000-point club in three-straight seasons. Jarekious Bradley officially hit that mark in 2014-15 (vs. Austin Peay on Feb. 28), Tyler Stone did it in 2013-14 (vs. Ball State on Nov. 18) and Marland Smith accomplished the feat in 2012-13 (vs. UT Martin on Feb. 9). Stone and Smith were in the third year of their Southeast careers when they went over 1,000 points.

Cleveland is Rolling
Antonius Cleveland registered a double-double in two-straight games and three of his last four starts. Most recently, Cleveland scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds against Tennessee State (Jan. 2). He ranks tied for fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference with three double-doubles and three 20-point games this season.

Scoring Streaks
Antonius Cleveland, Eric McGill and Trey Kellum are currently on double-digit scoring streaks. Cleveland has pitched in 10 or more points in six-straight games, while McGill and Kellum have done it four-straight times. Cleveland (14.7 ppg) and Kellum (9.7 ppg) are first and fourth on the team in scoring, respectively, through 14 games.

McGill Heating Up
Freshman guard Eric McGill shot a combined 6-of-11 (.545) from 3-point range over his last two starts. McGill dropped in three 3-pointers in each of his Ohio Valley Conference games this year, marking the first time he had multiple threes in back-to-back contests as a Redhawk. He scored double figures in four-consecutive games, increasing his season average from 4.7 to 7.3 (+2.6) points per contest during that span. McGill ranks second on the team with 14 three-pointers made this year.

Offense Improves
As a team, Southeast's offense has improved, particularly in the last five games. Since the Northern Kentucky game on Dec. 19, the Redhawks have seen their average grow from 60.8 to a season-best 66.3 points per contest. Southeast averaged only 65 points in 12 non-conference games before opening Ohio Valley Conference play with 74 points per contest. The Redhawks accumulated a season-high 94 points vs. Harris-Stowe (Dec. 27).

Return to Morehead
Southeast first-year assistant coach Chris Moore spent four seasons in that same capacity at Morehead State from 2006-10. Moore teamed with then-head coach Donnie Tyndall to lead MSU to two postseason tournament appearances as the Eagles averaged 18 wins per season. He directed the program's recruiting efforts, which produced two classes ranked in the nation's Top-40 and No. 1 in the Ohio Valley Conference. Moore recruited current Denver Nuggets power forward Kenneth Faried who finished his career at MSU as a three-time OVC Defensive Player of the Year, two-time OVC Player of the Year and the NCAA's all-time leading rebounder.

Miles and Miles
After this week's road trip, Southeast will have travelled 5,653 miles between stops at Dayton, Ohio, Evansville, Indiana, Huntsville, Alabama, Edinburg, Texas, Carbondale, Illinois, Memphis, Tennessee, Highland Heights, Kentucky,  Springfield, Missouri, Morehead, Kentucky and Richmond, Kentucky. A total of 3,934 of those miles will be by charter bus alone.

Stealin' the Show
Guards Eric McGill and Isiah Jones are third and fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference in steals, respectively. McGill has 22 (1.7 spg) in 13 games, while Jones has a team-high 23 (1.6 spg) in 14 starts. Southeast is second in the OVC with eight steals per game behind Morehead State (8.5).

Shooting Improves
Southeast, which shot no better than 42.4 percent from the field in each of its first nine games this season, has made big strides in that area over its last three contests. The Redhawks shot over 40 percent in six-straight games, tallying a season-best 52.2 percent against Harris-Stowe (Dec. 27). Southeast also shot 48.3 percent from the field in back-to-back road games at Northern Kentucky (Dec. 19) and Missouri State (Dec. 22).

About Morehead State
Morehead State hosts Southeast in its first Ohio Valley Conference home game this season. MSU, which is 6-7 overall, dropped its league-opener, 62-57, at Murray State on Jan. 2. The Eagles, currently on a four-game losing skid, boast the OVC's top scoring defense. MSU is allowing just 64.5 points per game. The Eagles also lead the conference in steals (8.5 spg) and rebounding defense (31.2 rpg). Corban Collins is MSU's top scoring threat with 12.2 points a game.
