OVC Home-Openers
Southeast takes on Morehead State in its Ohio Valley Conference home-opener this week. The Redhawks are currently 12-10 in OVC home-openers. That mark includes a 2-3 record in such games under head coach Dickey Nutt. Southeast fell to Belmont, 107-94, in its last OVC home-opener on Jan. 9, 2014.

Series History
Southeast is 17-25 all-time in its series against Morehead State. The Redhawks are looking to snap a two-game losing streak in the series after dropping their last two meetings with the Eagles in 2012-13 (75-59) and 2013-14 (80-67). MSU comes to Cape Girardeau after losing seven of its last eight contests.

Bradley Among Nation's Top Free Throw Shooters
Jarekious Bradley moved to fifth in the nation in free throw percentage after going a combined 12-of-12 in his first two Ohio Valley Conference starts last week. Bradley has missed only three times at the charity stripe this season, knocking down 40-of-43 attempts. He boasts a .930 free throw percentage and enters Thursday's game with a season-long streak of 24-consecutive free throws made. Bradley has not missed a free throw in six-straight starts. His last miss was with 6:30 left vs. Southern Illinois on Dec. 10.
NCAA Division I Top-Five Free Throw Percentage Leaders (Through Games of Jan. 6, 2015)
Michael Bryson, UC Santa Barbara          .947
Four McGlynn, Towson                             .946
Chasson Randle, Stanford                       .934

Jarekious Bradley, Southeast Missouri    .930

Keep it Going
Jarekious Bradley's streak of 24-consecutive free throws made this season is the longest of any Southeast player since Lucas Nutt made 22 in a row during the 2010-11 campaign. Bradley's streak is presently the longest of any Ohio Valley Conference player this year. The OVC record for most consecutive free throws made in a season is 46 by Glen Napier of Morehead State in 1981-82.

Johnson Cracks Top-10
Nino Johnson grabbed seven rebounds in his last start at Tennessee State (Jan. 3). As a result, Johnson cracked Southeast's top-10 all-time career leaders in rebounding. He now has 622 rebounds and is tied for 10th with Arvin Haynes (1972-76) on that list.

Moving On Up
Jarekious Bradley's hot shooting at the free throw line this season placed him among the school's all-time career leaders. Bradley has made 137-of-168 free throws to date and currently ranks eighth all-time with a .815 free throw percentage.

Closing In
Senior forward Nino Johnson is just six blocks away from breaking Southeast's all-time career record. Johnson had a single-season record 84 blocks in 2012-13. He currently has 151 in his career and ranks second behind William "Bud" Eley (156 blocks, 1995-99). Johnson was third on the team with 28 swats a year ago. He leads the Redhawks and ranks third in the conference with 31 blocks in 15 starts this year.

No Place Like Home
The Redhawks are currently 5-1 at the Show Me Center this season. Southeast's only home loss was to in-state rival Missouri State (73-61) on Dec. 13. The Redhawks have won eight of their last nine home games dating back to the 2013-14 campaign.

First OVC Win
Two days after coming up short in a heartbreaking 78-77 loss at two-time defending Ohio Valley Conference regular-season champion Belmont, Southeast regrouped to nail down its first league win of the season. Jarekious Bradley scored a season-high 29 points to lead the Redhawks to a convincing 77-62 road victory over Tennessee State (Jan. 3). He shot 10-of-12 from the field, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out two assists in 30 minutes against the Tigers. Bradley started his final conference season by averaging 24.5 points per game over his first two OVC starts.

Jones Nets Season-High
Walk-on Isiah Jones scored a season-high 13 points and played the entire game at Tennessee State (Jan. 3). In just his fourth career start, Jones shot 4-of-9 from the field and buried a season-best four threes against the Tigers. It was his sixth double-digit scoring game this year.

Redhawks End Road Skid
Southeast ended a five-game losing streak on the road when it beat Tennessee State, 77-62, on Jan. 3. The Redhawks improved to 2-7 away from Cape Girardeau this season and recorded their first road win since defeating Central Arkansas, 74-68, on Nov. 22.

Starting Streak
Nino Johnson has started in 21-consecutive games dating back to last season, presently the longest streak among active players. Johnson scored double figures 13 times and pulled down double-digit rebounds on five occasions during that stretch. The last time Johnson wasn't in the starting lineup was vs. UT Martin on Feb. 12, 2014.

Stealin' the Show
Southeast enters the week ranked third in the Ohio Valley Conference in steals with just under eight (7.9) per game. The Redhawks are ranked among the top three league teams in steals for the first time in Dickey Nutt's six-year tenure as Southeast's head coach. The Redhawks were fifth in the OVC in that category last season.

Number 550
Dickey Nutt will coach the 550th game of his career as an NCAA Division I head coach when Southeast takes the court against Morehead State Thursday. Nutt is in his 19th season overall and sixth with the Redhawks. He ranks 47th in victories among the 100 coaches who have led programs while a member of the Ohio Valley Conference from 1948 to the present.

About Morehead State
Morehead State, which stands second in the Ohio Valley Conference East Division, comes to Cape Girardeau after losing seven of its last eight games. The Eagles are 0-1 in league play after falling to Murray State, 66-57, at home on Jan. 3. MSU leads the OVC in offensive rebounds with 13.8 per contest. The Eagles are also second in rebounding defense (31.9 rpg) and rebounding margin (+4.4). Angelo Warner leads MSU with 13.1 points per game this season, while Brent Arrington follows with 10.1.
