Hall of Fame Weekend
Southeast's matchup against Eastern Illinois falls on the Redhawks Hall of Fame weekend. The 2013 Hall of Fame class features Eugene Amano (Football, 2000-2003), Dan Connolly (Football, 2001-2004), Kathleen Hudson (Track & Field, 1979-1981, 1983), Miles Smith (Track & Field, 2004-2008), the Kohlfeld Family (Friends of the Redhawks) and 1996 Volleyball Team. Members of this year's class will be introduced at halftime of Saturday's game.

Southeast Moves to Second in OVC West
With its win over SIU Edwardsville Thursday, Southeast moved to second in the Ohio Valley Conference West Division standings. The Redhawks enter the weekend on a two-game winning streak after beating the Cougars at home and taking down Tennessee Tech (Jan. 18) on the road. Southeast began the month on a four-game losing streak, but won three of its last four contests.

Series History
Southeast holds a 24-21 edge in its all-time series against Eastern Illinois. The Redhawks have won six of the last seven meetings and are going for their fourth-straight win against the Panthers at the Show Me Center. Southeast faced EIU three times a year ago, beating the Panthers, 77-64, in Cape Girardeau and, 78-68, in the first round of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.

Approaching 250
A win Saturday will give Dickey Nutt his 250th career victory as an NCAA Division I head coach. Nutt is 249-273 overall in his 18th NCAA Division I season. That mark includes a 60-86 record at Southeast.

Good to be Home
The Redhawks are in the middle of a season-long three-game homestand. Southeast opened that stretch with an 82-78 win over SIU Edwardsville Thursday. After Saturday's matchup against Eastern Illinois, the Redhawks step out of conference play to host UMKC on Jan. 29. Southeast is 5-2 at home this season.

Record Watch
Lucas Nutt has been Southeast's assists leader in 17 of 20 games this season. Nutt is closing in on the Redhawks all-time career assists mark. He presently has 528 and needs 14 more to break the record, currently held by Dwayne Rutherford (541 from 1986-90). Nutt is presently the Ohio Valley Conference's active career assists leader.

Grinding it Out
Southeast heated up to shoot 60 percent from the field, went on a 22-1 run and at one time led by 25 points in a strong first half against SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 23).  The Cougars then strung together an 18-3 run to narrow Southeast's lead to four with 11:56 left in the second half. SIUE later made things real interesting when Donivine Stewart tossed in two free throws to pull to within one with nine seconds on the clock. The Cougars then grabbed the rebound off a missed free throw by Lucas Nutt, but immediately turned the ball over. Southeast made four free throws in the final seconds to secure its 11th win of the season.

20-Point Man
Jarekious Bradley scored 22 or more points in seven of his last nine starts. Bradley leads the Ohio Valley Conference with fifteen 20-point performances this season. He dropped in 28, including 11 in the first three minutes of the game at Morehead State (Jan. 16).  Bradley's scoring average has not been below 20 points per game since Dec. 14. He has scored double figures in 14-straight starts.

Halfway Point
Southeast hits the halfway point of its Ohio Valley Conference season when it faces Eastern Illinois Saturday. The Redhawks are 3-4 in conference play. Southeast will go up against OVC West Division opponents in seven of its final nine league contests.

Keep it Going
The Redhawks are on a winning streak for the first time since early December when they beat Texas State (Dec. 1) and Southeastern Louisiana (Dec. 7). At the time, those wins were part of a season-best five-game winning streak. If Southeast wins Saturday, it will be on its first three-game conference winning streak since Feb. 7-16, 2013. The Redhawks beat SIU Edwardsville and Eastern Illinois at home, and UT Martin on the road during that stretch.

High Scoring Redhawks
Southeast scored 82 or more points in four of its last five games. The Redhawks put up 94 in a 13-point loss (102-94) to Belmont on Jan. 9, 102 points in an eight-point win (102-94) vs. Tennessee State on Jan. 11, 83 points in a nine-point win (83-74) at Tennessee Tech on Jan. 18 and 82 points in a four-point victory over SIU Edwardsville on Jan .23. Southeast also scored over 90 points in back-to-back games for the first time since 1997-98 at the beginning of that period. The Redhawks lead the Ohio Valley Conference and rank 17th in the nation in scoring offense with 82.9 points per game. Additionally, Southeast ranks 14th nationally in total assists (324) and 15th in field goal percentage (.489).

Bradley Second in Scoring
Jarekious Bradley ranks second in the Ohio Valley Conference in scoring. Bradley, who is averaging 21.4 points per game, ranks 12th in the nation in scoring, fifth in field goals made (152) and ninth in total points (427). He started OVC play strong, averaging 22.9 points in his first seven contests. Bradley shot 53.3 percent (56-of-105) from the field, 45.6 percent (26-of-57) from three-point range and was 22-of-26 at the free throw line in his first seven conference starts. He made all but four of the Redhawks three-pointers during their two-game road swing at Murray State (Jan. 2) and Austin Peay (Jan. 4). Bradley began the conference season by scoring 22 points, including 15 in the first 12 minutes of the second half against the Racers. He also made a jumper that gave Southeast its first lead of the game. Two days later, Bradley became the sixth different player in the OVC to score 30 points in a game this season. He shot 11-of-19 from the field, 6-of-10 from downtown and scored 17 first-half points on his way to putting up 30 against Austin Peay (Jan. 4). More recently, Bradley finished with a game-high 28 points at Morehead State (Jan. 16) and followed that up by scoring 12 at Tennessee Tech (Jan. 18) and 18 vs. SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 23).

EIU is last in the Ohio Valley Conference in scoring, averaging just 64.3 points per game.
