Saturday's game will be broadcast live on the radio at ESPN 92.9 FM and Real Rock 99.3 FM. Todd Bonacki will call the action. Video (pay-per-view) and live stats can be accessed online at LionSports.net.

Redhawks Heating Up
Southeast enters Saturday's game on a four-game winning streak and winners in six of its last seven contests. The current win streak matches the Redhawks longest under head coach Dickey Nutt. Southeast also put together
a four-game winning streak in 2011-12 (Dec. 22-Jan. 5) and 2012-13 (Dec. 19-Jan. 3).

Another Win . . . would give the Redhawks their longest winning streak since the 2004-05 season. That year, Southeast won seven in a row from Jan. 22-Feb. 12. All of those wins came during Ohio Valley Conference play. The Redhawks last had a five-game non-conference winning streak when they posted victories in each of their first five games of the 1999-2000 campaign.

Series History
Southeast owns a 4-0 advantage in its all-time series against Southeastern Louisiana. The Redhawks travel to Hammond, La. for the second-straight year on the front end of a home-and-home series which was renewed prior to the start of this season. The Lions will return the trip to Cape Girardeau in 2014-15.  Southeast beat Southeastern Louisiana, 61-58, on Dec. 1, 2012; 63-61, on Dec. 3, 2011; 84-49, in 1953-54; and, 63-52, in 1954-55.

Time Adjustment
The Redhawks and Lions were initially scheduled to play at 4:30 p.m., CT, Saturday, but the game was moved to 11:30 a.m. due to Southeastern Louisiana's home Football Championship Subdivision Playoff matchup with Sam Houston State. The Lion football team secured the No. 4 national seed in this year's 24-team bracket and will host the fellow Southland Conference member Bearkats at 7 p.m. The 11:30 a.m. start time is Southeast's earliest this season.

Close Call
The last two meetings between Southeast and Southeastern Louisiana were decided by no more than three points. The Redhawks wrecked the Lions 31-game non-conference home winning streak with a 61-58 victory a year ago. Corey Wilford scored a game-high 18 points, knocked down a perfect 5-of-5 threes and secured the win when he split two free throws with 3.1 seconds on the clock. Before that, Tyler Stone turned in a double-double 18 points and 17 rebounds, and made the game-winning shot with four seconds left in overtime to beat Southeastern Louisiana, 63-61, in overtime during the 2011-12 season.

Against the Southland
Southeast has faced five schools out of the Southland Conference during its basketball history. The Redhawks are 12-6 all-time against such teams, holding a 5-4 record vs. Central Arkansas, a 0-1 record vs. Nicholls State, a 4-0 mark vs. Southeastern Louisiana, a 2-0 record against Texas-Arlington and a 1-1 record vs. McNeese State.

Cure UCD Classic Champions
The Redhawks went 3-0 to win the Cure UCD Classic in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico last week (Nov. 29-Dec. 1). Southeast beat Northern Kentucky, Tulane and Texas State en route to winning the four-team tournament. The Redhawks had all five of their starters average double figures in the scoring column over the three-game span. Southeast shot a blazing 59.4 percent (92-of-155) from the field and 50 percent (33-of-66) from three-point range for the tournament. Jarekious Bradley was named the Cure UCD Classic Most Valuable Player, while Lucas Nutt and Tyler Stone joined him on the All-Tournament team.

Hot Shooting Redhawks
Southeast has shot over 50 percent from the field in four-straight games. Most recently, the Redhawks shot a season-best 61.7 percent (29-of-47) against Texas State (Dec. 1). Prior to that, Southeast shot 59.3 percent (35-of-59) vs. Tulane (Nov. 30), 57.1 percent (28-of-49) vs. Northern Kentucky (Nov. 29) and  52.5 percent (42-of-80) against Mid-Continent (Nov. 22).

How 'Bout that Hardware!
The Redhawks had a hand in all three of the Ohio Valley Conference weekly awards on Dec. 2. Lucas Nutt was named Co-Player of the Week, Jarekious Bradley earned his third Newcomer of the Week honor and Antonius Cleveland garnered Co-Freshman of the Week accolades. Southeast has claimed at least one of the league's weekly honors in four-straight weeks.

Johnson Approaching 100 Career Blocks
Nino Johnson needs just two more blocks to reach 100 in his career. Johnson, who set a new Southeast single-season record with 84 blocks in 2012-13, currently ranks third all-time with 98 swats. William "Bud" Eley (156 blocks from 1995-99) and Drew Demond (112 blocks from 1999-02) are the others with over 100 career blocks at Southeast.

Big Second Half
Southeast caught fire to shoot 68.2 percent in the second half of its latest 82-74 victory over Texas State (Dec. 1). The Redhawks only missed seven field goals, shooting 15-of-22 against the Bobcats. It was Southeast's best second-half field goal percentage since the Redhawks made 19-of-29 shots for a 65.5 percent clip against Central Arkansas on Dec. 8, 2012.

Strong Start
The Redhawks are currently 6-2 this season, their best start through the first eight games of a season under head coach Dickey Nutt. Prior to this year, the Redhawks were no better than 4-4 (2012-13, 2011-12) through their first eight games with Nutt at the helm. The 6-2 start is Southeast's best since going 7-1 in 1999-2000.

Stone Moves to Second in Scoring
Senior forward Tyler Stone is presently second in the Ohio Valley Conference in scoring with 19.2 points per game. A native of Memphis, Tenn., Stone has scored double figures in all six of his starts this season. He also opened the year with 20 or more points in each of his first three games, turning in a double-double in two of those contests. Stone has scored double figures a total of 63 times and currently boasts a team-high 14 double-doubles in his Southeast career.

Bombs Away
The Redhawks shot a season-high 50 percent from three-point range to key their 102-72 win over Tulane (Nov. 30). Southeast made 16-of-32 attempts and buried 10 threes in the second half. Jarekious Bradley hit a season-best 5-of-9 three-pointers, while Tyler Stone and Jamaal Calvin followed with three. It marked the second time this season where the Redhawks had more than 15 threes in a game. Southeast, which made 33 of its season total 74 three-pointers in the last three games alone, leads the Ohio Valley Conference with a .398 (74-of-186) three-point field goal percentage.

Nutt Soars at the Point
Point guard Lucas Nutt scored double figures twice en route to Cure UCD Classic All-Tournament honors last week. A native of Jonesboro, Ark., Nutt averaged 15.4 points and missed only six field goals in three games, shooting 70 percent (14-of-20). He also shot 81.3 percent (13-of-16) at the free throw line and 71.4 percent (5-of-7) from three-point range, while dishing out a team-high 15 assists.

Redhawks Among Nation's Top Scoring Teams
Southeast leads the Ohio Valley Conference and ranks 10th in the nation in scoring offense with 89.1 points per game. The Redhawks are also 10th nationally with 713 total points. Southeast scored over 80 points in five of its first eight games this season. The Redhawks also lead the league and rank seventh in the nation in total assists (147).

Johnson Cracks Starting Lineup
Southeast went big with its starting lineup against Northern Kentucky on Nov. 29, starting forwards Tyler Stone (6-8), Nino Johnson (6-9) and Jarekious Bradley (6-5). Johnson, who previously scored double-digits in back-to-back games off the bench, narrowly missed a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds in his first start of the season. He also shot a perfect 4-of-4 from the field, dished out two assists, had one steal and a block in 35 minutes. Johnson followed that up with a double-double 10 points and 12 rebounds vs. Tulane (Nov. 30), and 10 points and eight boards vs. Texas State (Dec. 1). The Redhawks have gone 3-0 since Johnson joined the starting lineup.
