Time to Regroup
Southeast looks to bounce back from its first losing streak of the season. The Redhawks lost each of their last two games, falling at home to Illinois-Chicago (Dec. 14) and on the road at Memphis (Dec. 21). Southeast is 2-1 at the Show Me Center this year.
Redhawks Lose to #15 Memphis
The Redhawks lost, 77-65, at No. 15 Memphis (Dec. 21) in their first matchup against a ranked opponent this season. Southeast hung tough with the Tigers and was within seven points with under eight minutes left before Memphis pulled away. The Redhawks matched a season-high 19 turnovers which led to 24 Memphis points. Southeast dropped to 0-11 all-time against ranked opponents.
Blues City Trio
Memphis natives
Tyler Stone,
Jarekious Bradley and
Antonius Cleveland each scored double figures when they returned home to face the Tigers on Dec. 21. Stone had a game-high 23 points and 11 rebounds for his team-high third double-double this season. Bradley followed with 19 points and six boards, while Cleveland added 14 points, 11 of which came in the second half. There were a combined 11 Memphis players between the Tigers and Redhawks at FedExForum Saturday.
Langford Makes Debut
Guard
Josh Langford made his Southeast debut at Memphis (Dec. 21). A native of Huntsville, Ala. and transfer out of Auburn, Langford scored two points and grabbed four rebounds in seven minutes off the bench. It was the first game he played since Jan. 25, 2012 (at Arkansas).
Where Southeast Ranks

Johnson Gets 100th Career Block

Johnson, who set a new Southeast single-season record with 84 blocks in 2012-13, currently ranks third all-time with 100 swats. William "Bud" Eley (156 blocks from 1995-99) and Drew Demond (112 blocks from 1999-02) are the others with over 100 career blocks at Southeast.
