Southeast Hosts Mid-Continent Friday
Southeast Missouri (2-2) plays host to its second NAIA opponent this season when Mid-Continent (0-6) comes to town Friday. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m., CT, at the Show Me Center.

Take a Kid to the Game
The Southeast Missouri and Mid-Continent contest is Take a Kid to the Game Night. All kids ages 14 and under receive free admission (must be accompanied by an adult) for the game which is sponsored by Cape Air. Southeast's men's basketball team will sign autographs after the game.

Series History
Friday's matchup is the first-ever between Southeast Missouri and NAIA member Mid-Continent. The Redhawks are a perfect 7-0 against non-Division I teams under head coach Dickey Nutt.  

Against the American Midwest Conference
Southeast is 6-0 against teams from the American Midwest Conference under head coach Dickey Nutt. The Redhawks beat Williams Baptist, 116-60, on Nov. 12, 2009; Hannibal-LaGrange, 101-52, on Dec. 11, 2010; Harris-Stowe, 95-60, on Dec. 14, 2011; Hannibal-LaGrange, 82-71, on Nov. 23, 2011; Lyon College, 89-61, on Nov. 12, 2012; and Hannibal-LaGrange, 96-55, on Nov. 26, 2012. Southeast is averaging 96.5 against AMC schools with Nutt at the helm.

Redhawk Rewind
The Redhawks completed a two-game road swing in Indiana with an 87-83 loss at Ball State on Nov. 18. Jarekious Bradley (26) and Tyler Stone (24) each scored over 20 points against the Cardinals. Bradley, the Ohio Valley Conference's third-leading scorer with 19 points per game, has scored 20 or more in three of his four starts this season. Meanwhile, Stone is the team's top scorer with 23 points a game after scoring 20 or more in his first two starts. Stone is also pulling down a team-best 10.5 rebounds per contest.

Life on the Road
Southeast is on the road for six of its next eight games. Following Friday's matchup vs. Mid-Continent, the Redhawks travel out of the country to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for a tournament over Thanksgiving next week. The Redhawks face Northern Kentucky (Nov. 29), Tulane (Nov. 30) and Texas State (Dec. 1) in that event. After that, Southeast goes to Southeastern Louisiana (Dec. 7), Memphis (Dec. 21) and in-state rival Missouri State (Dec. 29). Also sprinkled in during that stretch are home games with Illinois-Chicago (Dec. 14) and IUPUI (Dec. 23).

Stone Clears 1,000 Points and 500 Rebounds
Senior forward Tyler Stone became the 23rd player at Southeast to score over 1,000 points in his career when he finished with 24 at Ball State (11/18). A native of Memphis, Tenn., Stone shot 8-of-17 from the field and 6-of-8 at the free throw line, while grabbing seven rebounds and dishing out three assists against the Cardinals. He officially scored his 1,000th career point on his basket with 6:04 left in the first half. Stone has 1,014 points in his career. In addition, he contributed seven rebounds at BSU, and as a result, went over 500 boards in his career. Stone is currently 63 rebounds away from cracking the school's top-10 career rebound list. Riley Ellis (1984-85) occupies the No. 10 spot with 568 rebounds.

Stone is Second 1,000-Point Scorer Under Nutt
Tyler Stone became the second 1,000-point scorer at Southeast under head coach Dickey Nutt. Marland Smith (2009-13), who was teammates with Stone during the 2011-12 and 2012-13 season was the other player to accomplish the feat. Smith ranks sixth all-time on the Redhawks career scoring list with 1,423 points. Both Stone and Smith got their 1,000th career point during the third year of their Southeast careers.

Cleveland Named OVC Freshman of the Week
Southeast guard Antonius Cleveland was named the Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Week on Nov. 18. Cleveland, who hails from Memphis, Tenn., averaged 14 points, 5.5 rebounds, three assists and three steals per contest in two victories during the week of Nov. 11-17. Cleveland began the week with 13 points, eight rebounds, four steals, two assists and two blocks in 21 minutes against Central Baptist College (Nov. 11). He followed that up with 15 points (13 which came in the first half), three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 34 minutes of play at IUPUI (Nov. 16). Cleveland had three dunks in the first half against the Jaguars, as well.

Cleveland Among League's Top Scoring Freshmen
Antonius Cleveland is currently ranks third among freshmen in the Ohio Valley Conference with 11.5 points per game. Cleveland, who has scored double figures in his first three starts of the season, is 25th overall in the league. Murray State's Cameron Payne (13.5 ppg) and Jeffery Moss (12.3 ppg) are the other freshmen ahead of Cleveland.

Conference Leaders
Southeast presently leads the Ohio Valley Conference in scoring offense (85.2 ppg) and assists (19 apg). The Redhawks are also second in the league in scoring margin (+10.8), three-point field goal percentage (.365), steals (11.5 spg) and assist/turnover ratio (76 assists, 53 turnovers, 1.4 ratio) through four games this season.

First Half Leads
The Redhawks have led at halftime in three of their first four games this season. Southeast pulled ahead of Saint Louis, 35-34, on Nov. 8, Central Baptist, 49-27, on Nov. 11 and IUPUI, 42-35, on Nov. 16. The Redhawks have led at the intermission in 12 of their last 14 games dating back to Feb. 2, 2013.

One More Three
Guard Lucas Nutt needs just one more three-pointer to reach 100 in his career. Nutt has knocked down 99-of-261 (.379) threes since joining the Redhawks in 2009-10. He leads the Ohio Valley Conference in free throw percentage (1.000) and assist/turnover ratio (27 assists, 7 turnovers, 3.9 ratio).
