We Meet Again
Southeast and Ball State meet for the second time Monday. The two teams first hooked up in Cape Girardeau on Feb. 23, 2013 as part of the ESPN Ramada Worldwide BracketBusters. The Redhawks lost that game, 85-82, when Jauwan Scaife buried a three pointer with 1.7 seconds left. Southeast returns the trip from that final BracketBusters event this year.

Southeast vs. the MAC
The Redhawks are 3-7 all-time against Mid-American Conference schools. Southeast is 1-1 vs. Miami (Ohio), 1-0 vs. Central Michigan, 0-2 vs. Eastern Michigan, 0-1 vs. Toledo, 1-1 vs. Northern Illinois, 0-1 vs. Western Michigan and 0-1 vs. Ball State. Southeast is 2-3 against MAC opponents under head coach Dickey Nutt. The Redhawks last beat a MAC foe in 2011-12. Southeast defeated Miami (Ohio), 64-57, on Nov. 26 that year.

The Hoosier State
Southeast heads to Muncie for its second game in three days in Indiana. The Redhawks picked up their second win of the season with a 76-68 victory in their first-ever meeting with IUPUI on Nov. 16. Southeast owns a 5-15 record against NCAA Division I schools in the Hoosier State -- 0-1 vs. Ball State; 3-9 vs. Evansville; 0-2 vs. Indiana State; 1-1 vs. IPFW; 0-2 vs. Purdue; 1-0 vs. IUPUI.

Nice Start
The Redhawks are on a two-game winning streak after beating Central Baptist College (Nov. 11) and IUPUI (Nov. 16) last week. A win at Ball State Monday will match Southeast's best start under head coach Dickey Nutt. The Redhawks opened the 2012-13 campaign at 3-1.

Life on the Road
Southeast is on the road for five of its next six games. Following Monday's matchup at Ball State, the Redhawks return to Cape Girardeau to host Mid-Continent on Nov. 22. Southeast then travels out of the country to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for a tournament during the week of Thanksgiving. The Redhawks face Northern Kentucky (Nov. 29), Tulane (Nov. 30) and Texas State (Dec. 1) in that event. After that, Southeast goes to Southeastern Louisiana (Dec. 7) on the backend of a home-and-home series from last season.

Non-Conference Road Wins
The Redhawks are in position to win back-to-back non-conference road games for the second time in head coach Dickey Nutt's career. Southeast last accomplished that feat when it won at New Orleans (83-67) on Nov. 29 and Southeastern Louisiana (61-58) on Dec. 1 during the 2012-13 season. Southeast's longest winning streak in non-conference road games under Nutt is three -- at New Orleans; at Southeastern Louisiana; at UMKC (Dec. 22) -- last season.

Stone Big in Return
Preseason Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year Tyler Stone turned in a double-double 22 points and 14 rebounds, and scored seven points in the final 1:09 to lead Southeast to its latest victory at IUPUI Saturday. In his first start of the season following a two-game suspension for violation of team rules, Stone shot 8-of-14 from the field and a perfect 4-of-4 at the free throw line. He made all of his free throws in the last 34 seconds to secure the win. Stone's double-double marked the 13th of his career, as he also finished with four assists and a game-high three blocks against the Jaguars.

Point Watch
Tyler Stone needs just 10 more points to reach 1,000 in his career at Southeast. Stone has averaged double figures in the scoring column every year as a Redhawk. He currently has 990 points and boasts a 15.2 points per game average in his career. Additionally, Stone scored double figures a total of 58 times since the 2011-12 campaign. Guard Marland Smith was the last Southeast player to get 1,000 career points when he finished with 1,423 from 2009-13.

Gray and Cleveland Double Up
True freshman Antonious Cleveland and junior Darrian Gray have scored double figures in each of Southeast's first three games this season. Most recently, Cleveland and Gray contributed 15 and 11 points at IUPUI (Nov. 16), respectively. Gray also knocked down a big three-pointer from the left corner after the game was tied 65-65. His shot spurred an 11-3 run over the final minutes. Cleveland (14 ppg) and Gray (13.3 ppg) currently rank third and fourth on the team in scoring.

Conference Leaders
Southeast presently leads the Ohio Valley Conference in scoring offense (86 ppg), free throw percentage (.735), three-point field goal percentage defense (.261), assists (18.7 apg), steals (13 spg) and defensive rebounds (26.3 rpg). The Redhawks are also second in the league in scoring margin (+15.7) and three-point field goal percentage (.385) through three games this season.

First Half Leads
The Redhawks have led at halftime in all three of their games this season. Southeast pulled ahead of Saint Louis, 35-34, on Nov. 8, Central Baptist, 49-27, on Nov. 11 and IUPUI, 42-35, on Nov. 16. The Redhawks have led at the intermission in 12 of their last 13 games dating back to Feb. 2, 2013.

One More Three
Guard Lucas Nutt needs just one more three-pointer to reach 100 in his career. Nutt has knocked down 99-of-260 (.381) threes since joining the Redhawks in 2009-10. He leads the Ohio Valley Conference in free throw percentage (1.000) and assist/turnover ratio (19 assists, 5 turnovers, 3.8 ratio).

Productive Frontcourt
Forwards Tyler Stone and Nino Johnson have certainly lived up to the billing as one of the best frontcourts in the Ohio Valley Conference. Stone and Johnson have combined for 1,418 points, 841 rebounds and 175 blocks in 86 starts during their careers. The patented tandem has also teamed up for 80 double-digit scoring games, 25 double-digit rebound performances, sixteen 20-point scoring efforts and 23 double-doubles since their first season at Southeast in 2011-12.

Bradley Fourth in Scoring
Junior forward Jarekious Bradley ranks second on the team and fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference with 16.7 points per game. Bradley opened his Southeast career with 20-point efforts in each of his first two starts. He was named Ohio Valley Conference Player and Newcomer of the Week on Nov. 11. Bradley became the first Southeast player to win both of those awards in the same week. A native of Memphis, Tenn., Bradley registered a double-double 22 points and 12 rebounds in his first career start at Saint Louis (Nov. 8). He shot 10-of-17 from the field, hitting 58.8 percent of his field goals in that game. Bradley also knocked down two three-pointers, added two blocks and collected four steals in 38 minutes against the Billikens. He scored nine of the Redhawks first 13 points at Saint Louis and made a jumper that gave Southeast a 35-34 halftime edge. Three days later, Bradley added a game-high 21 points vs. Central Baptist College (Nov. 11).

Do I Know You?
Ball State senior forward/center Majok Majok and Southeast junior forward Jarekious Bradley played together at Midland College in 2011-12. Majok was an all-conference selection in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference that year. He averaged 10.8 points per game and led Midland with 7.5 rebounds and a .552 shooting percentage his final junior college season. Meanwhile, Bradley averaged 14.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game as a freshman at Midland in 2011-12. He connected on 58 percent of his field goals that season before heading to East Mississippi Community College the next year.
