Quick Tips

Another East Division Foe
Tennessee Tech is the fourth-straight Ohio Valley Conference East Division opponent Southeast faces. The Redhawks have lost by double figures in each of their first three meetings with East Division foes (72-107, at Belmont; 69-81, at Tennessee State; 58-75, vs. Morehead State).

Back in Cape
The Redhawks are home for four of their next six games. After Saturday's matchup against Tennessee Tech (Jan. 19), Southeast closes out the month at SIU Edwardsville (Jan. 24) and Eastern Illinois (Jan. 26). The Redhawks then begin February with a three-game homestand -- Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 2), SIU Edwardsville (Feb. 7) and Eastern Illinois (Feb. 9).

Looking to Get Back on Track
Southeast is currently on a season-long four-game losing streak. Only one of those losses (vs. Murray State on Jan. 5) was to a West Division opponent. The Redhawks started Ohio Valley Conference play strong with two-straight wins, but has since dropped their last four league contests. It is the first time Southeast is on a losing streak of four or more games since the 2010-11 campaign when it lost six in a row from Jan. 13-29.

East vs. West
The Ohio Valley Conference East Division is a combined 15-2 against teams out of the West Division this season. The only remaining undefeated teams in OVC play are in the East Division (Tennessee State, 6-0; Belmont, 5-0). Southeast is 0-3 vs. that side of the conference.

Series History
Tennessee Tech owns a 28-12 advantage in its all-time series against Southeast. The Golden Eagles have won three-straight games against the Redhawks. TTU has also taken eight of the last nine meetings with Southeast. Additionally, the Golden Eagles have won in three consecutive trips to Cape Girardeau.

Nutt Continues to Climb in Career Assists
Lucas Nutt moved to sixth all-time in career assists at Southeast when he finished with five against Morehead State (Jan. 17). Nutt scored 12 points, including 10 in the first half vs. the Eagles. He shot 5-of-8 from the field and 2-of-2 at the free throw line en route to his fourth double-digit scoring effort this year. Nutt, who has collected five or more assists in a game nine times this season, has a total of 330 in his career.

100 Assists in Sight
Lucas Nutt, who leads the team and ranks fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference with 89 assists this season, needs 11 more to get 100. Nutt is averaging over four assists per game (4.4) through 20 starts and is trying to reach that mark for the second time in his career. He last had 100 or more assists in a season during the 2010-11 campaign (112).

Winning Record at Home
Southeast is 6-3 at the Show Me Center this season. The Redhawks are 16-7 (.695) in their last 23 home games dating back to the start of the 2011-12 campaign. Southeast started the year with wins in six of its first seven home games, but lost its last two in Cape Girardeau.
