NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Ian Clark and Trevor Noack each scored 30 points and Belmont University (12-4, 3-0) shot a scorching 61.5 percent from the field in a 107-72 win over Southeast Missouri (10-8, 2-2) Thursday night in its Ohio Valley Conference home-opener at the Curb Event Center.
The Bruins became the first opponent to score over 100 points against Southeast since Tennessee Tech put up 103 on Jan. 3, 2009. The Redhawks also suffered their largest conference road loss since falling, 96-58, at Murray State on Jan. 22, 2011.
"It seemed like every shot they took, they hit," said Southeast head coach
Dickey Nutt. "We had no answer for their shooting or inside play. We lost to a very good team and I give them credit."
Belmont stormed out to a 19-9 run and never looked back in its OVC home-opening win.

Noack later hit a jumper to give the Bruins their biggest lead at 82-45 with 9:53 to go before Belmont went on to its third-straight OVC win.
Clark missed only twice from the field, making 12-of-14 attempts and a near-perfect 4-of-5 from three. Noack followed with 10-of-16 field goals, 3-of-5 three-pointers and 7-of-10 free throws to polish off his career-high.
