CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri (1-3) hosts regional-rival Southern Illinois (5-1) in its home-opener Tuesday. Match time is 2:30 p.m., CT, at the Redhawks Tennis Complex.
Southeast, which has been off for over a week, picked up its first win of the season at Bradley on Feb. 26.
Melissa Martin leads the Redhawks with a perfect 4-0 record in dual singles play this season. Martin picked up all her victories at the No. 4 position.
Elizabeth Nyenwe follows with a 3-1 mark in No. 2 singles. Nyenwe won each of her last three singles bouts.
Southeast is 1-5 all-time against Southern Illinois.
