Traveling with Momentum
The Redhawks carry a three-game winning streak to Columbia Tuesday. Southeast, which went 3-0 last week, is coming off back-to-back road wins in Louisiana. The Redhawks beat New Orleans (Nov. 29) and Southeastern Louisiana (Dec. 1) in those contests. Southeast is on its first winning streak away from Cape Girardeau this season, where it plays eight of its first 11 contests. The Redhawks won three in a row for the second time in 2012-13, as well.

Series History
The Redhawks head to Columbia for the second-straight season. Southeast, which is 0-6 all-time against Missouri, fell to the then-No. 25 Tigers, 83-68, in its 2011-12 season-opener. All six contests were played in Columbia. The last time the Redhawks and Tigers met in back-to-back seasons was 1996-97 and 1997-98.

Stone Returns to Mizzou
Tyler Stone will get another crack at his former school when Southeast takes the floor against Missouri. Stone transferred to Southeast from Mizzou in 2010-11. He scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds in 12 games for a Tiger team that finished 23-11 overall and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament the previous year. Stone, who is the Redhawks top scorer with 15.8 points per game this season, has collected 36 double figure scoring games, 10 double-digit rebound games, 10 double-doubles, seven 20+ scoring performances and one 30-point effort in his first two seasons at Southeast. Stone also earned Second-Team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors and was named to the league's All-Newcomer Team last season. He led the Redhawks with 18 points against the Tigers a year ago.

Redhawks Bust Lions Winning Streak
Southeast wrecked Southeastern Louisiana's 31-game winning streak in non-conference home games when it held on for a 61-58 victory on Dec. 1. The Redhawks were the first non-conference opponent to win at the University Center since Jackson State (81-73, Nov. 28, 2006). Southeast will have another opportunity to play the spoiler role when it goes head-to-head with Missouri Tuesday. The Tigers have won 69 consecutive games at home vs. non-conference opposition. Missouri also boasts a 21-game winning streak in the month of December dating back to Dec. 9, 2009.

Smith Moving in on 200 Career Assists
Marland Smith, after becoming the third player in Southeast history to make 200 career three-pointers on Nov. 29 (at New Orleans), is now moving in on 200 career assists. Smith currently has 191 and is second on the team with 17 this season.

Under 40
No team has shot 40 percent from the field against Southeast this season. The Redhawks lead the Ohio Valley Conference and rank fifth in the nation in field goal percentage defense. Opponents are shooting just 34.6 percent (217-of-628) as no team has shot better than .387 against Southeast through 10 games. The Redhawks are also the top team in the OVC defending the three, limiting opponents to 24.8 percent (52-of-210) behind the arc.

Redhawks Second Nationally in Total Points
Southeast has scored a total of 689 points through its first 10 games and ranks second in the nation in that category behind Indiana (702). The Redhawks scored over 80 points three times this year with a season-best 96 against Hanibal-LaGrange (Nov. 26). Southeast, however, has played two more games than the Hoosiers.

Nice Start
Southeast (6-4) is off to its best start under head coach Dickey Nutt. The Redhawks were no better than 4-6 (2011-12) through their first 10 games of a season under Nutt prior to this year. Nutt is in his fourth season at the helm.

Let's Get Another
Southeast has not won three-straight non-conference road games since it moved to the NCAA Division I ranks in 1991-92. This year marks the first that the Redhawks are on a road winning streak in non-league action with Dickey Nutt as their coach.

Against the SEC
Southeast is 1-17 all-time against the current SEC membership. The Redhawks have faced Alabama (0-1), Arkansas (1-6), LSU (0-1), Ole Miss (0-1), Mississippi State (0-1), Missouri (0-6) and Vanderbilt (0-1). Southeast's only win came at Arkansas during the 1924-25 season.

A Win Tuesday . . .
Would run Southeast's winning streak to four games. The Redhawks last won four games in a row during the 2011-12 campaign (Dec. 22-Jan. 5). It is presently Southeast's longest winning streak under head coach Dickey Nutt.

Stone and Johnson Among National Leaders in Double-Doubles
Tyler Stone and Nino Johnson are tied for eighth in the nation in double-doubles through games Dec. 2. Stone and Johnson each have four this season. Stone has registered a double-double in four of his last seven starts. He has 10 double-doubles in his career. Meanwhile, Johnson notched a double-double in each of his last two outings.
