Road Warriors
Southeast played a stretch of four away games in seven days last week. The Redhawks will be at home for the third time this season and first since Nov. 15 when they face Hannibal-LaGrange. Unbeaten at Home
The Redhawks are currently undefeated with a 2-0 record at home this season. Southeast beat Lyon College (89-61, on Nov. 12) and McNeese State (64-53, on Nov. 15) in its two games at the Show Me Center. The Redhawks are 12-4 in their previous 16 home games dating back to the start of the 2011-12 season.
We Meet Again
Monday marks the third time Southeast meets NAIA affiliate and American Midwest Conference member Hannibal-LaGrange. The Redhawks are 2-0 all-time against the Trojans. Southeast defeated Hannibal-LaGrange, 101-52, on Dec. 11, 2010 and, 82-71, on Nov. 23, 2011.
Against the American Midwest Conference

Wilford Shines in First Start
Corey Wilford scored a team-high 15 points, including 11 in the first half during his first start of the season at Illinois-Chicago (Nov. 24). A native of Hopkinsville, Ky., Wilford made 5-of-16 field goals, 3-of-7 three-pointers and 2-of-2 free throws en route to his fourth-straight double-digit effort. He also dished out three assists in a career-high 37 minutes against the Flames. It was just the second start of Wilford's career and first since Jan. 21, 2012 (at Tennessee Tech).
Wilford Tears it Up
Prior to his first start at Illinois-Chicago (Nov. 24),
Corey Wilford erupted to score double figures in three-straight games off the bench at the CBE Classic. Wilford scored a career-high 21 points, all of which came in the second half, to key Southeast's win at Chattanooga (Nov. 18). A day later, he pitched in 16 points in 29 minutes against Louisiana Tech. Wilford then followed that up with 20 points, including 19 in the second half, against Troy (Nov. 20). He averaged 19 points and 4.3 rebounds per game at the CBE Classic. Wilford also shot 44.7 percent (17-of-38) from the field, 68.4 percent (13-of-19) at the free throw line and 43.5 percent (10-of-23) from three-point range. Five of his three-pointers came in the second half against Troy, where he tied the game twice.
100th Game
Southeast's game at Illinois-Chicago (Nov. 24) was the 100th for both head coach
Dickey Nutt and senior guard
Marland Smith. Nutt coached his 100th game at the Southeast helm where he is presently 35-65 in a little over three seasons. Meanwhile, Smith took the court for his 100th career game in a Redhawk uniform. He has played in 100 games and made 80 starts since arriving at Southeast in 2009-10. Smith has played in every game of his career.
Smith Closes in on 200 Career Threes
Senior guard
Marland Smith needs just three more treys to reach 200 three-pointers made in his Southeast career. Smith is currently 197-of-581 for a .339 clip from behind the arc. He ranks second on the team with nine threes this season. Derek Winans (219, 2001-05) and Curtis Shelton (215, 1990-94) are the players in front of Smith on Southeast's all-time career three-point field goals made list.
Block Party

Nino Johnson leads the Ohio Valley Conference with 19 blocks in seven starts this season. Johnson, who ranks third on the team in scoring with 10.7 points and first in rebounding with 9.1 boards per game, has had multiple blocks in six of his first seven contests. He finished with a season-high five swats against Louisiana Tech (Nov. 19) and is averaging 2.7 blocks per game. Southeast leads the league with a total of 31 blocked shots.
