Spring 2022: In singles, was tied for second on the team with 13 singles wins…Notched a 13-6 mark (2-1 at No. 2 and 3-3 at No. 3) including a 8-2 record at the fourth position…Went 5-2 in OVC singles matches at No. 4…In doubles, posted an 8-4 record with Vivian Lai (7-4 at No. 3, 1-0 at No. 2)…Went 3-2 in OVC matches with Lai at third doubles…Also played doubles with Romana Tarajova, going 2-4 (1-3 at No. 1, 1-0 at No. 2 and 0-1 at No. 3)…Concluded the season with a six-match singles win streak…Went 2-0 in singles at the fourth position during the 2022 OVC Tournament (4/30-5/1) to help the Redhawks capture their first-ever title…Also was 2-0 in doubles at the 2022 OVC Tournament (4/30-5/1) with Lai…Fell to #15 Stanford’s (5/6) Michaela Gordon and Valencia Xu, 6-2, with Lai in the First Round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament…Also took on #15 Stanford’s (5/6) India Houghton (7-5, 0-2, unfinished) in the First Round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament…Named OVC Tennis Player of the Week on March 8.
Fall 2021: Competed in four tournaments…Led the Redhawks with a 12-4 singles mark during the fall slate…Also was 4-2 in doubles competition…Served four straight singles victories to being the campaign starting with a victory over Mizuki Sakurai (UTM) by a score of 6-2, 6-2 Austin Peay Fall Tournament (9/17-18)…At the UCA Fall Invitational (10/3) secured three victories over Dorota Szcygielska (NSU, 6-3, 3-6, 10-5), Tiera Jarmond (Missouri State, 6-2, 4-6, 10-7) and Ayu Ishibashi (NSU, 3-6, 6-3, 11-9)…Defeated Flavia Gutierrez of Oral Roberts (6-2, 6-1) in the opening round of the ITA Central Regional Championship (10/21-24)…In the Round of 64, defeated Claire Slaughter of Arkansas by a final of 6-2, 6-1 to advance to the Round of 32, losing to Emelie Schwarte (Missouri, 6-7, 7-6, 3-6)…Following the Round of 32 loss, she moved to the Main Consolation Championship bracket where she become the first Redhawk in school history to secure an ITA Regional singles title…Beginning the consolation bracket with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Creighton’s Katherine Kruger… Then defeated Emily Surcey of Arkansas State (6-2, 6-3) in the Round of 16….Met Ekin Ercetin of Minnesota in the quarterfinals, defeating Ercetin 6-4, 6-2 to reach the semifinals where she met Nebraska’s Jillian Roa…Won the match 4-6, 6-3, 10-6 to secure a spot in the Championship…Beat Ioana Gheorghita (#2 seed) of Kansas State 6-2, 0-6, 10-8 to become the first Redhawk in school history to secure an ITA Regional singles title…Competing with Daniela Hlacikova, the duo went 2-1 at the UCA Fall Invitational (10/3) defeating Olga Bienzobas and Alexia Romero (Louisiana Tech, 6-0) and Lara Unkovich/Ana Rodrigues (Louisiana Tech, 6-1)…Finished the season with a doubles wins at the Murray State Invitational (11/5-6), defeating Belmont’s Peyton Lee and Somer Henry (6-3) and Murray State’s Natalie Slezakova/Gabrielle Geolier (6-3).
