CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Southeast Missouri Tennis team is excited to announce the signing of Pien de Greef.

De Greef is a native of The Netherlands and currently has an ITF ranking of 1625. 

"I chose SEMO because I had a great feeling about it, and I believe I can improve both as a player and a person," de Greef said.

"I am excited to add Pien to our roster. She has not traveled much internationally, and her competition has mostly been team play.  That tells me she is a team player.  She did win an ITF J30 doubles title in Rotterdam," said head coach Steve Brooks. 

Pien's mother played on the WTA tour, and she now owns AmJoy Tennis Academy in The Netherlands. AmJoy Academy had the #1 ranked boy in the world last year. 

De Greef is the second signee to join the Redhawks in the 2026-27 season.
